    One does want to keep in mind that the furry purring little critters are traditionally eaters of vermin, and that their sharp little claws may act as vector for infections where they penetrate our skin.

    May I suggest the article of clothing shown at the following link as being quite functional for your application, as the fronts are double thickness. Easier on the budget than leather and also quite comfortable. The Alaskan fellows are quite partial to these.

    Everyone got to start somewhere, cat repel instead of sex appeal, do they make that in leather maybe adding two more zeros to $68?

    made complete with matching black leather boots and maybe matching black leather jacket. This whole outfit would become 100% cat's claws proof but not recommended as Texas summer wears around the house especially when there is no air condition.
