    could quatum be the essence of free-will ?

    so could the quantum world be the essence of free-will ?

    I mean is not the quantum world within each and every atom ?

    I don't know I'm just asking

    any thoughts ?

    If free will is the ability to travel between a positive(+), negative(-) and neutral (0) potential as any given need/situation arises then there is something quantum going on here. Everything is wise in its ability to find equalibrium except the poor old human whose "free-will" is actually "un-free will" cause it does not go with the flow.

    Hi North;

    I agree with both of your questions.

    Yes the quantum world is the basis for our limited freedom, which serves as the basis for our free will.

    And yes the quantum world is within every atom.

    The most basic atom, Hydrogen, is made up of a proton and an electron. The proton is composed of 3 quarks, which exhibit asymptotic freedom (limited freedom).

    We have in the physical world the uncertainty principle, or degree of freedom. This basically means that you can't predict with accurately 100%. Only probabilistically. It allows you to defy gravity by jumping up and down. Thus exercising your freedom of choice.( No pun intended )

    Just my thoughts on your questions.

    Best,

    Pat
