They just keep on increasing as you post more and more. It will become two yellow stars after you cross the 10 post mark, they are another of Robert's additions to encourage members to post more, to get more stars!
Thanks Mo....I was just in a conversation with another member about different stars so when Hawk...ask that question he kinda threw me....lol...

Dear hawkingfan1,
It is interesting to hear that you have read and could understand “A Brief History of Time” by Stephen W. Hawking. Actually, it is quite difficult even for general people!
I suppose that you not yet read “Six Easy Pieces” by Richard P. Feynman, in the topic “Quantum Behavior”, do you? It is an easy book about quantum mechanics that you should not miss! But if you already read it, what is your opinion about it?
Cheer,
Nimit
I have not rea that book but have read many other books based on or by Richard Feynman. What shop would be best to get this book in?
A place called a library would be better to get it Or there is another place called the book shop... Or you could download if you can find it in rapid share or in torrents, but don't do that...

I can never seem to find a library that will do any good books on Fiction, never mind Science.
Hi Hawk....why don't you try your own area University Library. Any book I cannot locate I go down and take it out of Queen's University Library. If it cannot be taken out...I just find a quiet corner and take what notes that I think are pertinent....

An interesting read about Hawking can be found here, if interested.
Then QM is dead (and it ain't) or you have completely redefined it (due to a lack of 'mystical' vision I'd guess). I don't think that it is 'translatable'...NOW ANYBODY COULD UNDERSTAND QUANTUM MECHANICS!
I will add, however;
In The Tao of Physics, Fritjof Capra, said in 1982:
“I now believe that the world view of mystical tradition is the best and most appropriate philosophical background for the theories of modern science.”
In 'Genius; the life and Science of Richard Feynman';
"Quantum mechanics comes on as so off-the-wall that only a mystic state of mind can even begin to probe its mysteries."
"Any branch of knowledge, whether geology or astronomy, strikes mysticism as soon as it reaches any depth."
'Current' QM theory, on the other hand seems to have some validity as over 1/4 (and growing daily) of US economy is directly based on it, and every single prediction made has manifested.
Again, time will tell.
Best of luck.
Amazon has this book, second hand for a $1.87 (58 copies left)
