properties of the space at quantum level

Hi all, I am questioning the fundemental sructure of the space in quantum level, to me the space in this matter wave scale can not be the same space that we perceive in our conception but something more web like thing enebling the waves to prpogate through, as i said this i have no clue of explaining for the time being but becouse of this natrure of space at this scale the wave behaviour is totally depends on this space structure. I am not saying about the aether or ether as a continum that enebling electromagentic waves to propogate through but the space is a wave nature very complex web. my idea is that space is made of the most fundemental quasi particle that even photons are being controlled by them. this nature of space has many other properties as well such as it is growing in every direction of the light speed and it always interact with anti-space at the edge resulting this obvious dark matter like perception.

before the big bang is the only thing exist is anti-space, where the physics inversed, to me. with the big bang the space also created and propogated in the same ratio, as we percieve it as expansion of the universe, but it will be the phenomeon of the space it self.

can anyone help me to formulate this in mathematical form just to make sure that it can be included in to quantum hypothesis in more genereal way?

    Hi Dawson;

Welcome to the forum. I'm an accountant and not a mathematician so I wouldn't be able to help. AntonioLao, one of our members seems to have a very good understanding of math and physics. Perhaps he could provide you with some insight.

    Best,

    Pat

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loop_quantum_gravity may be of some interest to you.

That is essentially what your description of spacetime sounds like, mine as well.

space-time , neither have properties to begin with, at all

    never have and never will

Directionality isn't a property to you, I take it?

Considering you can have a lack of directional orientiability, I'd say that is a pretty fundamental distinction.

look space can have directionality because space gives you that option

but that shouldn't and doesn't mean space influences direction , not physically

Gravity is the influence of space on your motion.

    I disagree

in order for gravity to influence space means that you have to show that space has properties in the first place , when devoid of any energy and/or matter of any kind

not by mathematics but by pure physical spacial presence

    it can't be done

Re: properties of the space at quantum level

Extend your hand in one lateral direction.

Take a step in that direction, notice how you remained at that location?

That is an unfettered degree of freedom.

You cannot do this directly downwards because there is a planet in the way, so what about upwards?

Extend your hand upwards... that works fine.

    Hop upwards.

    Did you stay there?

That is a limited degree of freedom.

That degree of freedom is directed towards the Earths gravity well.

There are no particles being shot back and forth between you and the Earth, it is a simple geometric effect along with your tendency to follow a path of least resistance.

The very directions you take for granted are bent in the presence of the Earths mass.

That curvature makes the path with the least energy expenditure one aimed towards the bottom of the Earths gravity well.

If you removed the Earth, you would no longer experience that effect, and would have 3 (relativitely) unfettered degrees of freedom.

I'll go into it more tomorrow, but there is a reason the math works, it's describing the Universe effectively.

Re: properties of the space at quantum level

The existance of entangled particles indicates that space can also be entangled. Space is expanding but there is no anti-space at the boundary because dark matter is an effect throughout the observable universe and the universe is probably curved so that it has no edges.
