There is a new "entropic" interpretation of the Anthropic Principle, including new physics which supports this. The entropic interpretations states that the Anthropic Principle is the ToE by virtue of the fact that the GUT falls directly out of it.
This is proven beyond the level of unsubstantiated speculation by the following physics, but it is also inversely supported by human evolutionary interpretation, which predicts that the universe will leap to a higher order of entropic efficiency after a period of near static or "punctuated equilibria"... <b>the same way that humans did.</b>
That is the logic of the evolutionary interpretation and this is empirically supported by the fact that it is observationally proven that the human evolutionary leap has enabled human-induced entropy to increase since the day that humans discovered fire, where further leaps in entropic efficiency have been enabled by human technology.
A big bang is to an evolutionary leap, what "punctuated equilibrium" is to a near static universe.

Particle theory says that for every fermion type there is another fermion type that has exactly the same mass, and therefore no priori distinction between matter and anti-matter.
Dirac's "Sea of Electrons" was dismissed as implausible for this reason, but the opposite value of all other charges (quantum numbers), indicates that the asymmetry between the two classes of particles is due to the fact that the anti-particle has -rho and negative mass, until it becomes a real particle.
The universe continues to perpetually evolve to higher orders of entropic efficiency via fundamental asymmetries that enable the universe to transition to a more efficient configuration. That is to say that the entropy of the system increases to a higher order of entropic efficiency by way of what is otherwise known as a "metasystems transition", where entropy is directionally constrained so that there is probability that the system will evolve to a higher level of complexity in order that entropy may continue to increase, where,

Vacuum energy density, (rho), is related to pressure by P=-rho, and so vacuum expansion will be affected by pair production, as the negative pressure component increases in proportion to the "hole", while the gradient between the vacuum and matter becomes more severe via the gravitationally offset increase in vacuum tension.
The expansion of the universe will slow down or speed up depending on whether rho-3P is positive or negative, but if expansion is proportional to pair production, then rho-3P equals is very close to zero rho, because pair annihilation attempts to keep up with pair production, as with the observed case for antimatter annihilation radiation that NASA's Compton Gamma Ray Observatory discovered in the Milky Way Galaxy. Omega is therefore always very near to one.
The gradient between the vacuum and ordinary matter becomes more severe instead when you increase mass-energy while at the same time increasing -rho with real particle pair production, and so virtual pair production should also increase with the increase in uncertainty, (dE), that comes about as a result, and then real pair production increases as well, as more virtual particles become available.
The vacuum expansion rate increases in proportion to the rate of increase in -rho.
Asymmetric transitions which occur with real particle pair production require that tension between the vacuum and ordinary matter will increase until the system dissipates built-up stress in the direction of a more stable state when it leaps to a higher order of entropic efficiency. This is what is known as a positive feedback regime in which deviations from the previous position are further amplified, which is to say that the universal constants are "convolved" inherently forth to a higher order per the second law of thermodynamics, as the system evolves very quickly to a fitter configuration of the entropic process.
The above qualifies the second law as the GUT by way of the fact that asymmetries that result in force decoupling are perpetually and inherently carried forth, so ideas like, Super-Symmetry and "Super-Gravity" are exposed for the idealizations which they actually represent, and this goes for "Singularities" as well.
This all falls out of the ToE, otherwise known as the "Anthropic Principle" as interpreted via the primary entropic inclination of every object in a big-bang induced expanding universe that leaps perpetually forward after periods of "near-static" "punctuated equilibria"... by way of ever increasing tension over time, which occurs by way of the above defined asymmetric transitions as they apply to high energy particle physics.
