Re: What is the Root of all evil?

"In my Heart there burns A Flame

    And It's a Holy Fire,

How I Long to be with Him

    And That's My Heart Desire,

    Oft Within That Holy Place

    And Kneeling At His Throne,

He Is Always There For Me

And I Am Not Alone." ~D.

Eve never did eat the apple.

    Wonder Worm saved the day

So all is well in the garden. As they say.

    Thank-God!

Re: What is the Root of all evil?

Drop the idea of becoming someone,
because you already are a masterpiece.

God never gives birth to anything less that that.
Everyone carries that masterpiece hidden for many lives,
    not knowing who they are,
and just trying on the surface to become someone.

The God that created you is not separate from you.
Heaven is here on earth. NOW
Where else is our heaven going to be but here on earth?

    Profpat.
    Surely it's not LOVE.
---If that is Tina’s answer, then my answer to that, on that level of perception is, “DUH!”
---Read through how a choice occurs and look at my signature.
---As ‘bad’ and ‘evil’ are degrees of negativity, is ‘love’ and ‘like’ merely degrees of positivity?
---Everything that any individual does is; for love of self.

---I am going to wait and see if there are any arguments on that last one. Wouldn't bet against there being some, though.
The world is the way it is, because we like it this way.
    Otherwise, we would change it.

Re: What is the Root of all evil?

Jesus said: “You shall love the Lord your God with your whole heart, with your whole soul, and with all your mind.” This is the greatest and first commandment.
The second is like it: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Matthew 22:37-39

Please note "LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF"

Now if we could all do that no more problems.

---And how does that work out for the better if you are a sado-masochist? If you want violence done to yourself, you will go out and be violent to others.
---Do unto others, as you would have others do unto you, only works for the betterment of a society if you aren't.
---Try this one; do unto others, as you would have others do unto yourself and those you care about.
The world is the way it is, because we like it this way.
    Otherwise, we would change it.

Whatever works for you futrethink. I'll stay with the "Love your neighbor as you love yourself"

BTW: Tina is gone for a few more days but will address all, I'm sure on her return.
