Isn't there an implication here that both subjected passengers foresaw that the plane would crash, and, what part of the plane would be subject to live or perish in?

I don't think they foresaw it because it would have put too much fear and anxiety in them. I don't think we can foresee our own deaths, although nobody has lived to tell about it. They were both up for death but it happened to only one of them so neither saw it.

I don't think that the conscious or unconscious mind could access such knowledge before the proposed incident actually occurred. Anyway, that's why I think it was a simple coincidence.

I don't agree with things called coincidences coz they aren't rare occurrences for me. They happen all too often for me, sometimes 4,5,6 of them in one day. It made me so paranoid at one point that I thought God was following me. But now I'm not scared of them anymore, I'm used to it. Since it's a part of my everyday life, how can something so common for me be a coincidence? I don't know if it's called predetermination or something like that, it's not that I believe in destiny either because if something is destined to happen, it just already is, nothing mysterious about it to me. There isn't much mystery left in life for me. It's not boring, it's actually kinda fun and wild coz my husband tends to make things crazy. Just last night he was telling me that everything he ever wished for came true for him but they never would have without me, I made his wishes come true. He has one more wish and I know it's going to happen coz the other ones did. It won't be a coincidence when it does too. It's as though we are molding our future, we aren't foreseeing it, just saying what we want and it just falls into our laps. I don't want to jinx it, pth pth pth. That was for my husband, he's superstitious.

Is that what it means to not think coincidences are just coincidences? What are they if not coincidences? They need a new name for the believers, we can call them koinkidinks or PO's purposeful occurrences, but there isn't any purpose to them. Ewe, weird now thats a thought, do koinkidinks serve a purpose? Not just the rare out of the blue, every once in a while ones, I mean like constantly in your face koinkidink?
