Example
Two people
Limited resources.
One sells more than his fair share and then uses the money to increase
(yet further) -
- his unfair share.
The basis to capitalism.
One man One vote
- a democracy.
However the landscape is defined by money -
- governments courting money for the wealth of their own (and not all) nations.
One's vote will have no effect on the policies which we'll be governed under -
- the policies are delivered by
(currently)
corporate concerns.
~*~
Consider every limiting resource on the planet -
divide by ca. 10 billion -
allocate one of these units to each human being in the World -
- now compare the allocation with the actual usage by our people -
-the greatest divergence between one's fair and actual share will be seen in those with most money.
Sure
- we've all a vote -
and are superficially equal -
- the policies though (of competing politicians) are biased towards those which court those with greatest divergence (selfish personal wealth) -
- and so with each passing day inequality's throes.
