Perhaps that should have been 'history viewed from the distant future'.

Re: Does it take an intellectual to knock God??

We must pay for our productivity by factoring in the cost of 'reimbursing' the total ecology, not just our 'human' creditors.
    Sustainability.

My experience of purchases over the last five years is that 'stuff' is built to break.

Forcing people to purchase more satisfies the human creditor -
    - not so great for the group as a whole though
    when
    we run out
(through waste from use in products of intentionally customised shoddy quality)
of the very raw materials which are essential for life.

Human nature is such that we need to change the ways of all of society simultaneously -
    - human greed won't
    {NIMBY,'why me? and not .him.?'}
    permit it any other way.
    ~*~
    Richard Dawkins
Completely intentionally created a community geared to demonstrate the worst excesses of human nature (as displayed by religious fundamentalists).

    Anti-Dawk sentiment was not tolerated.

Dawkins thereby elegantly (and to re-iterate (intentionally)) defining the problem with religion for others to experience
    --- by ---
    (in effect)

    - creating his own and then
    (I'm guessing)
    - instructing his Moderators to express over-zeal
    for the cause.

Faith in (the majesty of) nature as opposed to Faith in God
    - where we're about to show that 'unknowable' rests as substrate to this
    - our structured reality
    of -> nature <-

    --- meaning ---
that Faith in the majesty of Nature
(the evolutionary process which delivers better unto us)
    - is simply Faith in God (religion)
    (by another name).

    Words do that.
Human beings have simply imagined that the meanings which each individual ascribes to words are the same to their mind as intended meaning used in oratory

    - a child will not be able to understand {deeply, meaningfully} -
    - the Dawkins model of {God,religion} -

    - we are going to need to deliver a mechanism for education which permits the simpler abstraction for God (a human need) until the child is ready
    for more.

    Education makes it inevitable
    tipping point
    that the child *will*
    (when a little older)
    be ready for more -
    - the simple question
    - but if he made us, then who? who?? who??? made him
    good question
    will arise -
    - at which point -
    - enter
the process of re-orientation to GodvII.

    ~*~

Religious fundamentalists simply have immature minds -
are people who haven't grown up -
    - can be shown to be of lower intelligence -
    - should be treated as children (with kid gloves) -
    - in order to help them out from the local parochial instability.

Of course there's no supernatural God -
as neither is there a Father Christmas -
    - however children do so ... ... ...

Re: Does it take an intellectual to knock God??

Reality can be derived from recursive process of evolution from an initial substrate of matrix comprising only Planck length wavelength standing waves
    (ref:ToEf:Leskey)
    - arranged in such a manner that evolution occurs by synchrony in two adjacent waves (when the energetic carrying capacity of the two adjacent waves is exceeded)
    (ref:ToEf:Max)
resulting in evolution through the point of inflexion of the duals (turned duality).

Superstructures of the same basic geometry form -
    - the basis to hierarchical structures formed following evolutionary event
    - where hierarchy defines (from the pre-evolutionary structure)
    - a novel previously-unknowable better.

    We have two unknowables -
    the substrate (origin)
    (ref:ToEf:@@@)
    and
future iterations of the evolutionary process.

One will remain forever unknowable -
    - the other knowable (only though
    when
    we're
    ready).

We're more concerned with our own future -
    - though confuse our interest in our own future with the quest for our ~by definition~ unknowable (pre-Big Bang) past.

Reality is an autonomously filling suitcase -
    - where one's holiday cannot commence until the maximum theoretical carrying capacity of the suitcase has been (by a wafer thin mint) breached.

    reference:
    ToEf:Max on black hole formation.

All stable emergent structures (just a phase we goin' through on our evolutionary journey) bear the dynamic geometry of the Black hole.

One day you'll have a job like mine

We just finished watching the movie Push.

In it there was a part with the written words..."two days from now" like they are telling the story before it happens. Usually it's said "two days later", like retelling...

? history being pushed or pulled ?

"The purposiveness of all vital processes, the strategy of the genes and the power of the exploratory drive in animal and man, all seem to indicate that the pull of the future is as real as the pressure of the past"
