    Religion of mathematics

One of the definitions of religion as given by online dictionary is the following:

a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, esp. when considered as the creation of a superhuman agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs.

If the word ‘superhuman’ is replaced by the word ‘mathematics’ and the word ‘observances’ is replaced by the word ‘calculations’ then a mathematical religion is defined as:

a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, esp. when considered as the creation of a mathematics, usually involving devotional and ritual calculations, and often containing a logical proof governing the conduct of mathematicians.

Well put Antonio, mathematics has a master mind behind
it all, religion can also be described as believing in something
until you "cross over" and actually KNOW!

Mathematics is probably, at this piont in time the truest religion because of it's focus on the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe.

All of the other so called "Great" religions of the world are deterred by human emotion and dogma.

folks in the panhandle area are too busy roping steers to
    notice!

But don't wait long enough for the Marfa lights to come to you and check you out.
