Are the branches of atheism and theism independent of each other? Can they all come from the same roots? This root could be the state of consciousness itself.

Time independence: [∂E(g)]²=[∂F(a)×∂r(a)]·[∂F(b)×∂r(b)] and Mass independence: ¶a(t)·¶r(t)=c²
Agnostic seems to be the most logical common place of beginning. Maybe that's what it feels like to have neutral consienceness.
"If you come to a fork in the road take it." Yogi Berra
Atheists set out to disprove the existance of God which is what Lucifer tried to do.
Theists try to prove the existence of God, many times giving up logic and causing civil unrest, even war.
I do believe they both come from the same source and will return to their source at some point in time. Since it came from Good it must-All be Good.
I hope we're over it now.

Remember that the “a” in atheism stands for “anti” or anti-theism just as “atheist” is “anti-theist”. There’s actually no belief system called “atheism” for us to believe in. Our belief system is called “SCIENTISM”.
Atheist do not set out to disprove the existence of a god, we simply say there is no physical evidence of one just as there is no physical evidence of an Easter Bunny or fairies.
What’s good for a society based on religion is not always good for all individuals so the society attempts to stifle or even kill the individuals that refuse to accept the rules of that society. We atheist do not want you theists making rules and laws based on what the pope says your god wants. Don’t put your creationism BS in our public schools and don’t put your 10 fundamental rules in our public buildings. Don’t make laws that prevent medical research just because you think your *&^%& god (aka POPE) has told you it’s wrong.
The whole concept of a god is the result of a misuse of an evolved social interaction system of our brains that religions and con artist tend to take full advantage of.
I do hope I haven’t offended any theist with my soapbox rant ---- Actually, I hope I’ve pissed them off royally.![]()

Two sides of the same coin, from my limited perspective.
In my youth, my exposure to religion included being a Sunday School teacher, playing the keyboard for servce and weekly bible studies. Yet Spock from Star Trek was my idol. Was I conflicted? Hell, no!
LOL, I lost my virtue to the son of a preacher man and soon gave up on a perspective that I found too limiting in scope for any questioning mind.
The debate should be most interesting, think I'll pull up a chair.
Let the games begin!![]()

I like definition # 2 in the American Heritage Dictionary:

NOUN:
- <LI type=a>Disbelief in or denial of the existence of God or gods.
- The doctrine that there is no God or gods.
- Godlessness; immorality.
belief is a lie ... the truth is not a belief
the surround is consciousness
'you' are consciousness
god/creation/heaven SHE is there ... 'you' do not have to include HER
the truth is now .. the now is 'known' not believed
'YOU' do not know, you are the known.
believers are hurting.. FAITH end of hurting.
I AM .. an atheist losing my religion....

Hi Antonio:
I won't be revisiting this thread as I anticipate a whole lot of ignorant comments from David and his groupies.
Best to you sir,
