If I said that a dead toenail is conscious I could understand your point, but to extend biological functioning to universal proportions when we are made from the same stuff stars are made of doesn't seem too illogical.

Then evidently, you don't seem to understand what logical science is all about...

What is required for a brain to function as it does?

I understand quantum mechanics, Lloyd, but it gets very limiting and boring sometimes. You don't seem to understand the philosophical connotations applied to science. Philosophy is the root of both religion and science, hence Ph. D. - Philosophy Doctorate.

I think you know deep down there is nothing to prevent a universal brain, but are perhaps being stubborn or refuse to be more open-minded.

Debate? A scenario where opposing arguments are put forward.
Oneness has no argument with itself, that's what melanie advocates.

Whats the point in debate it only cause conflict?

There is no such thing as truth, Lloyd. Only your "truth" which I allow to be different than mine.

Re: Does God really exist in any form?

    RE-ATTACHED

    Like two golden birds
    Perched in the self-same tree,
“Lo,” one said to his siamese twin,
“I am thee and you are me,
    Forever joined in harmony.”

The Ego and The True Self
    Are such intimate friends
    As to be inseparable
    By any operation,
    And so each may ever
    Have joy unto the other.

    The former partakes of
The bitter and the sweet fruits,
    These experiences bursting
    Alive against the palate,

    A grand taste
Of the The Tree of Life,
While the latter looks on in
    Glorious attachment and witness
    Of life’s wondrous experience.

Re: Does God really exist in any form?

In WWII, religous extremists assassinated the prince of Hungry, they were sure he was the anti-christ. To their dismay, he returned again in WWII, with his religon of science inspiring other believers to build bombs and drop them on the inferior races of the japanese. Some people thought it was Hittler but they were wrong. It was actually the jew nut job smoking a pipe that got the atomic ball rolling. Everyone working on the project were upstanding members of faith. It was a catholic priest who with the help of a buddist monk decided the best way to test the new device was by exposing troops to it. This was all done in the name of God, clearly, something had to change. So instead of looking at ourselves, and tired of looking at what God was doing to everyone, we made science the holiest of holies. It was all Bushess fault then, it's all Obama's now, and God was almost off the hook because everyone was certain it was all about oil, wmd's, and not revelations. But since both men claim a belief in God, clearly, God is repsonsible and nobody else. There was almost relief, because being able to put any of our shame and blame off on God seems to work. There was never anything harmed by doing this, I mean God's God anyway. So while blaming and shaming on God, we missed most of the stuff we did ourselves. Who needs the devil when we have each other like this? It was because of a belief in God the some scientists and the companies and organizations they work for test things, illegally on humans. And it because of God why there is no shame in having all the money and all the fame ... spent on ego-sense, when brothers and sisters are dying, because we've got god to blame, there's no sense in trying. If God doesnt make the world a better place, why should I care for this human race?

Everything is god's fault, nothing is ours.
