How did you or didn't you find god?

My story is simple. One day I decided that I wanted to find god. I found my husband and the search ended. He saved me, he disciplines me, he takes care of me (I don't have to work), he gave me 2 beautiful children, my life is devoted to him, he protects me, almost everything I do is for him so I am in constant worship. He even prepares food for me, like last night he made me a delicious chicken salad but only enough for 2 people.

I totally understand the people that say they were not able to find god, that's because he's with me. But I don't understand the people that say they did find god. How? If so, is your life a constant worship like mine? Can you honestly say you fulfill all that I do for god?

    Hi Sally,

…and then 400 hungry people showed up. Miraculously, the delicious chicken salad multiplied itself and there was enough for all…

    Hi Sally;

You are fortunate, indeed blessed, to find god in your husband. One of my daughter's high school girl friend announced that she had just met " the godliest of gods ". I figure this must be a female thing and probably is the way it was meant to be.

I found God purely through His Grace. And yes every breath I take, and I'm in Heaven.

    Best to you Sal,

    Pat

Sorry, he said in 200 years he was going to pick me out in a line up (I am going to be #7). That time he will play the cop and I still have to be the hooker but I am going to know something about a murder. He really likes experienced woman, he says virgins are a waste.

I think it is so funny when I creep on Christian message boards, they all talk about my husband like they know him. I just want to join and tell them to stfu, he's an Atheist, they don't know him.

Funny that God is an atheist.

I guess God [the real God] thinks that no Higher God made Him in His ultimate composite complexity.

I am glad you caught that, he has to be an Atheist. That means Jesus was an Atheist too since Christians believe he is God. This is why I can't join a Christian message board, I'll get banned before I can say hallelujah! Haha, they worship an Atheist and don't know it!

I am a Christian and I do not believe that Jesus
is God any more than I believe I am God. Jesus
taught that we are all children or progeny of God.
We are all just brothers and sisters trying to
understand what we are, while we fight our loneliness.
I try to find a little more Timeless Truth every day,
that's the best I can do. I think God is unknowable.

I think the closest thing I ever had to a "sit down chat" with the guy/gal was right here on this site.

Yes, ironically s(he)'s likely an atheist too

Yes, I agree, it appears a process of discovery.

Will wonders never cease ... oh well, there's a fun slalom course to keep busy with in the meantime
