Particle wave function. - 04-07-2006, 12:10 PM

HBD;
I tend to view the neutron as the decay of a proton in the opposite direction to the commonly interpreted decay process. The core of the proton condenses ethereal matter until it is saturated and its wavelength function is reduced to an extremely short wavelength while also collapsing the wave function of an electron. A shell like structure is formed that confines a collapsed proton structure and a collapsed electron structure. The shell has acquired wave symmetry of such a short wavelength that it no longer significantly interacts with the surrounding ethereal matter and thus appears as a neutral domain. The wave function determines if the objects can form a bond; constructive wave interference (attraction) promotes the bond and destructive wave interference (repulsion) prevents bonding.

To follow your analogy, you could say that a neutron is a collapsed saturated Hydrogen atom with such a short wavelength function that it no longer produces charge nor does it impose an influence on its surrounding ethereal environment. This same analogy can be used to comprehend the behavior of a neutrino as a collapsed quark.
