Why? What does the non-measurement of absolute zero have to do with rest frames?

There is no known condition of non motion.

After reading these posts, I must inject these thoughts……… Motion, a vector of velocity, D/t, is used to measure time. Motion, multiplied by time, yields distance traveled in time. Time exists without motion. The behavior of linear time is the behavior of vectors. Linear time must be viewed as a Vector of change, Not as imaginary or manmade. Time existed before mankind evolved to claim it conceptually. Mass is quantized acceleration, requiring the existence of time to maintain the existence of mass. The observational reference coordinate system is a preferred ‘non-motion’ point. The reference point does not move, time passes, with or without observation of any motion from this reference.

Hi Q7;
I believe D/t is not a measure of time you are using time already as the denominator. It's a measurement of speed ( velocity ).
I believe in the big bang theory and all three( Time, Space, and Motion ) were all created at that moment of the BANG. Can't have one without the others.
Best,
Pat
P.S. The formula is vt=D and not motion x time = Distance

It's good to see these controversial issues settled so decisively, Michael.

Nothing can exist without matter and motion, right? Oh oh, is that a nobody nothing concept.
As far as the existence of time, it is only another man made form of measure, much like a ruler. Before man, time, or 2:30pm, or 10 5/8 inches didn't exist.
Unless you believe dinosours wore watches too. Hey brontosourus rex, it's 12 oclock, lunch time, lets go eat.

The truth of everything is less than one inch,
it is only equal and the lion is one.
