Someday Lloyd, I honestly hope that you will see through the piles of scientific BS too.
That you see the light of nature's simple truth.
What science calls the "Shoulders of Giants", I call a Pile of DO.

Lets have this forus more on solid logic than on philosophy. Though I am not against philosophy....

Education?

Whilst driving a bus the other day, a passenger on her way to the university told all who could or would hear the extent of her vast knowledge. She told an impressive story of doing her under graduate work in Oregon. That her post graduate work was done in California, and that now she was pursuing an advance degree in bio mechanics. Well, the atmosphere was so silently impressed by it all. After a moment of quiet contemplation she asked: "how do you stop this bus anyway?"
The silence was over, and down the road we all went.

Lets get back to the task... I guess almost everybody agrees that time without motion is irrelevant. What aout motion without mass??

So intelligent people are supposed to know absolutely everything about absolutely everything? I don't think so.

Let's not create unnecessary divisions by imagining one thing to be two separate things, eh?

If you do not understand philosophy, find out! True philosophy can only be based around 'solid logic'. Anything else is not true philosophy, it becomes part of the mythologists business. True philosophy has also been described as 'the discovery of the obvious'.

People look after the things they have affection for. It is thus essential that we learn to have affection for the planet that sustains us.

"The sense of threat from every quarter of what is known as the Establishment – which is to say, of modern civilization – is not altogether a put-on or an act for many of these young folk, but an actual condition of soul. The break-off is real, and what is being bombed and blown up outside are actual symbols of interior fears." - Joseph Campbell

Let us not forget about Lloyd's advocating solid, scientific, counter-intuitive logic either, eh?

Yea, I suppose it makes perfect sense for every scientist to begin their career by reinventing the wheel, doesn't it..

We would be doing ourselves a great disservice by claiming to be intelligent. Believe me none of us know even a tenth of our own world. Forget knowing about the Universe...
