"I'm saying the 'field of dark' is really the field of light."

Dear eyeboy:
That's what it looks like to me also.

The bark on your tree seems okay to me.

(George Berkeley, 1710) ... lay the beginning in a distinct explication of what is meant by thing, reality, existence: for in vain shall we dispute concerning the real existence of things, or pretend to any knowledge thereof, so long as we have not fixed the meaning of those words.

"All things come out of the one and the one out of all things." - Heraclitus
"Reality is an illusion - albeit a persistent one." - Einstein
"Particles give me a headache." - Ibid

Ok, sorry I was confused, I thought everyone was saying that dark is like a seperate 'entity' to the field of light.

Prehaps dark is just light that we fail to percieve because our ignorance keeps us in the
dark?

I think it's more like light waves we are not capable of perceiving with the naked eye. Absence of VISIBLE light is not the same as absence of light. There are whole ranges in both directions which we are incapable of seeing, yet can measure with equipment. For instance Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation is light, at frequencies that we can't see. However, we have instruments that can produce pictures of it. Radio waves are light that we can't see, but radios capture and make us aware of them. X-rays can't be seen but X-ray film can capture them. It's a matter of perception not absence.

Photons are everywhere, but they resonate at different frequencies which may or may not be seen.

Darkness is a vacuum. And true vacuums don't exist anywhere in the known universe.
