Welcome to ToeQuest, jaycee. In an attempt to help out, I seem to have unadvertantly resized the image too small. If you don't mind it like this, then feel free to leave it, but if you don't could you perhaps resize the image on the imageshare host so that it doesn't overflow the page, and then link to it again. Thanks, and sorry!

If you haven't found something strange during the day, it hasn't been much of a day - John A. Wheeler.
Hello and welcome Jaycee,greetings from the UK to you,see that you have made an excellent start,like what i see,is not oscillation another way of saying vibrates or vibration?
warmest regards michael.

Hey there Michael,
Oscillation is periodic movement between two extreme points.
In the case of the Universe there may well be billions of years between the first point and the second point.
Space wants to be flat, mass causes curvature of spaceTime.
Think of a large sheet of latex rubber stretched between two wide points horizontally .
Now drop a heavy weight into the middle, it will stretch beyond the horizontal plane, if the elastic force is weak, it will stay stretched, but if it is strong it will spring back to the horizontal plane and beyond.
So how far will spaceTime deform?
Now we must ask ourselves if we are in the expansion phase, at what point in our future does the compression phase begin?
I am abysmal at math so someone else can do the calc.
Now the thing is, does space time rip and what are the consequences?

Hi John;
Welcome to ToeQuest.
We know the effects of gravity, it is the cause that we don’ know; we have some guesses though. The thing is whenever we talk about a force without knowing the absolute cause, we are asking others to believe in magic. That’s basically where we stand with the interpretation of the numbers today with Relativity and QM; asking people to believe in FM. Your post simply gives another guess as to the effects of gravity; do you have an idea as to what its cause is?

I suspect that space has three primary states.
Positive mass state.
Negative Mass State
Neutral mass state.
Negative Mass Attracts Positive Mass.
The larger a Mass is the more negative it becomes.
Negative Mass State has positive Gravity.
Positive mass state Has negative Gravity.

John;
I guess you could say space is that way such as when the EM waves are at constructive interference they are positive mass and when they are at destructive interference they are at negative or lesser mass (minimum); somewhere in between this vibration is the null or neutral. I don’t really believe you meant it this way though. If your looking for something opposite of gravity you might consider expansion as the opposite effect. Before you can go any further though you must explain the cause of MASS since motion affects it. (Relativity 101)

Gravity is the elastic force that pulls an accumulation of matter which is mutually attractive (Mass) back to its first extreme point.
Between both extreme points inertia operates.
Mass in motion has kinetic energy equal to the force initiating the motion.
Once in motion it has inertia.
Doppler shift and Bow wave references are very apt when refering to the passage of a particle such as a photon travelling within space time, since it is this which produces the interference patterns which give rise to the wave particle theory.
However take this one step further and a particle can increase its velocity by twenty percent by riding the Bow wave step.

Hi John;
I don’t wish to discourage you but your posts indicate you do not have much of a background in physics. Here is a site with free physics text books in PDF format; they may help you express your ideas and understand the terminology.
