Re: a question - 04-06-2008, 06:32 PM

Good question swoarg;

I viewed gravity as a compressing agent that compresses mass. Once mass is compressed to it's smallest amount then I think a quasar from a black hole occurs. Or a big bang happens.

I don't know for sure though.

Best,

Pat

You are full of good questions. I don't know maybe energy? Which came first the chicken or the egg?

sorry Pat i was jumping the gunn there a bit, so i we saying that gravity does compress, i suppose as it enters a black hole there would have to be some form of compresion maybe the black hole strips out certian elements of gravity, leaving gravity in its purist form.
but as for the chicken or the egg, gravity could of been the first.

Hi swoarg;

I don't believe gravity exist independent of mass. In other words to have gravity you have to have mass. Gravity being a property of mass, and not an independent entity in its own right. When mass gets compressed in a black hole energy is produced. Hawkings black hole radiation, quasars with gamma rays etc.

Now the question is does energy have gravity? At present it's unknown. I believe energy has some mass and therefore gravity.

I believe in the conservation of gravity, but that is just my belief.

Best,

Pat

swoarg,

Gravity could be caused by mass seeking the centre of a volume.

Profpat,

What if the first impression, or experience of the core substance of this Universe, was its falling from an event horizon towards a centre point. What if the core substance of this Universe is inherent with the urge to seek the zero point of any volume.

I like John (everymansmedium) idea of Gravity. He says gravity is the reaction of the spatial dimensions expanding and as a result slightly compressing the time dimension. Looks like a fairy tale explaination. Wish it was true..
