Without a brain you are dead?

I have been among other things involved with para-psycology for the past 35 years,and have personally talked to those who have had "out of body experiences"OOBS those who
have "died" for a while,then were brought back to "life" they all tell a familiar story,seeing
a blue or white light,feeling of being cared for -loved,warm feelings,seeing departed family members and old friends,being reassured,then told that they must go back,its not yet your time!

I have also been involved in public and private circles where I have personally
experienced communication with those who are considered by many as being dead!

I have also had the communication regarding the title of this thread without a brain you are dead,I must say it caused some amusment.It was then,around 30 years ago that I
realized the brain was only a physical representation of the spiritual mind,and is only useful to enable physical beings to fufill the cycle of evolution and unfoldment.

Michael i support your ideas 100% not because i've experienced an OOB personally,
although i have had similar experiences or visions in my semi-
conscious states of awareness.

Basically i consider the cosmos to be ALIVE ..
death being only ''APARRENT''
DEATH is the illusion.

It's quite exciting to reach this level of consciousness,
from this level of consciousness comes expansion into greater depths and deeper realms of consciousness.
When we are willing to drop our persona,
this little non-exsistent insignificant separate 'i' person we automatically merge with the eternal ONE spirit..
which is not separate from the physical body.

It is the body that is impermanent..
The spirit animates the physical and that is eternal and not separate from the flesh.

The cosmos in my opinion is like a huge echo chamber,
nothing is lost here,
all data energy form or whatever else can never ever be destroyed
whether it be in spirit or physical form.

All channeling therefore is from ''self to self'' it is a reality
the creative potential of the universe is limitless and so powerful.

It has enormous EMPATHY for itself.

Thanks for your last post Melanie,our brains are like bio-computers,processors of data, I
see the brain as a physical symbol of the mind,and outpost of consciousness within the
physical realm.

When we die,all that really changes is our place of abode,instead of being wholly physical
we become more astral/etheric.We as "individuals" hardly change,we are still very much the same person,minus a physical body and of course a Brain!


Yet we find that we can still "think" communicate,and explore our new surroundings,all
without a brain to assist us.

Consciousness is the very essence of spirit,the life force that pervades all existence,when
understood like this the idea that a physical brain being needed to experience consciousness becomes quite absurd and ridiculous.

I can well remember my grandfather coming to me one day,(long after he had died)and
knowing that I was to soon visit my grandmother who was still "alive" at the time,and asking me to relay his thoughts to her,this placed me in an awkward situation as my
grandmother did not believe in the continuity of life,(she hoped there was a heaven)and
I said to my grandfather that i would do my best.

When i did visit her,she was remembering him and talking about their 50 odd years of
marriage,this gave me an opportunity to say i believed him to be in heaven looking down
and thinking of her,this brought tears to her eyes,and was quite acceptable to her.

There are countless millions upon this planet who believe,accept,and worship a God of their understanding,millions also "know" that there is an Absolute Power a GOD that just
"IS",now if one was to suggest to these many acceptors of Divinity that your GOD has no
PHYSICAL BRAIN thereby cannot be real and conscious,what do you think the response
would be?

The universe operates via natural law,which is perfect and unchangable,man depends
on its accuracy for propelling astronauts into space.The Absolute has NO-NEED-of a physical BRAIN thank you very much,it has managed for a billion eternities without one
I think it will be FINE.

Why or how Consciousness should arise as it does from the blank inane Here, as it's doing all the time, is just incredible mystery. And if you call this God, I'm sure that God is absolutely astonished by his own impossible feat of self-origination. He doesn't know how he does it. If he knew how he did it, he would be missing out on the greatest joy imaginable, which is the wonder of Consciousness arising from Unconsciousness for no reason and with no help.
