Is the Law of Balance like classicism vs. romanticism, foolishness vs. adventure?
The Law of Balance applies to us cosmically, biologically and on a personal level to our body, mind and emotions. Consciously we bear responsibility for our lifestyle and actions. When balancing in our life it is not about avoiding extremes but to explore extremes to learn balance and be centered. We have to work both sides of everything equally and then learn to center ourselves. Because we all have different temperaments, dispositions and constitutions our balancing acts concern different things..
Millman says that romance and adventure make life worth living...smiles

— Balance —
Not quite sober blessed nor drunk to excess—
Never too foolish nor very reckless;
Oh, our passion is so reasonable
In this delicate state of awareness.
— Blend in Unity —
Strive for a dynamic balance—of light
And dark, Yin and Yang, and wrong and right.
Reality is found not in separate actions,
But in related events blended in twilight.
— Harmony —
Each holds within itself the seed of the other—
Yin reaches climax, then retreats in Yang’s favor:
Cyclic movement of rotational symmetry.
Rounded life is the blend of Yin/Yang together.
Yang is the bee that pollinates the flower...Yin is the flower blooming to attract the bee....smiles

Robert,
That was not sex happening in the 'Harmony' poem--and any replies are just of scientific flowers, birds, and the bees.
Oh oh....I hear Robert coming...chuckles...

Just whistle and sing and try to act normal.
I think its quite normal on the Toe to be discussing the scientific mystery of the bee pollinating the flower....all botanists would tune in...smiles

Is the Law of Choices that we, if lucky enough to be of such makings as to be attracted to learning, to thus enlarge our repertoire of associations, imaginings, and memories of what should work well, so that when the brain subconsciously rummages around the scenarios of consequences good or bad learned therein, it can present, near or at the end of its analysis, a thought to the mind that has good potential to make a good happening if we follow with some action or choice?
