The advantage of the superstring theory is that gravity doesn’t have to be quantized separately and then be united; gravity is automatically united with the other three forces of nature (electromagnetism, the strong nuclear force and weak nuclear force).
The problem however is whether the superstring theory will prove to be the right approach in the future.
I believe there has to be a single xyz stepped string that is the basic clock and energy source in our universe if there is to be an integrated world. I can't believe that space is filled with short vibrating strings that fill an infinitle amount of space and came from nothing and still have standard characteristics. We still don't know how the three dimensions are made. We do need a single finite time-line to hold things together if space is not infinite. I believe our world is recycled over and over as a stepped time-line.
I believe space is finite and filled with quantum boxes of space in which opposite sides come together in an xyz phase generating a vortex at each apex of the cube box. Its easy to get 1/2 spin from three 1/3 spins to give a full turn 2Pie half way around the cube. Two turns will occur around 3 up vortexes and 3 down vortexes of the cube, full rotation will be two spins around the box.
Mass is the restriction of movement of the path steps one after another along the path always occur but each cycle changes the configuration of the path unless the steps are in line like a domino---this is mass. I believe that Einstein was right that space is confined but I believe it is like a ball of twine with the end relocated one step form is chronological partner. Without a string everything would move outward and from this nothing could start---there has to be a big bang and a big crunch. Manifolds are made of crossed chains to give the reality we see --- a step in time is energy, distance and time a manifold changes this.
