What are Strings made of???

The problem is the bottom up approach of Quantum models, I believe.

I have a top-down model which explains the appearance of the Universe and why we see the effects we see, with only 4 dimensions.


Quantum Mechanics is like trying to build a tree, cell by cell, and hoping a forest emerges.

I think looking at it the other way, you will see that all the trees are connected at the roots, and the quantum effects are the emergent properties... not the truth.

It does make sense Max, but remember you and I were made cell by cell, and we are the emergent properties made through that process. I think truth can be reached at both the micro ( sub-nuclear particles ) and the macro ( the potentially infinite universe ) levels.

It seems like we are approaching the end of a journey. A physical journey of mass and energy. It is now going into the areas of the metaphysics. What happened before the beginning? How will the universe end? Doesn't our physical journey begin as a dimensionless point and ends with an infinite universe. That really sounds strange " BEGINS AS A DIMENSIONLESS POINT AND ENDS WITH AN INFINITE UNIVERSE " but yet isn't it the truth? And now we are left to explain how that happened.

Prof, if strings make up energy, how come energy makes up strings?

I don't know about the math Max but the concept seems correct. You don't start off conceptually as a dimensionless point particle of nothing, but rather as a 1 dimensional Planck Length string of vibrating energy. What could be an easier more fundamental building block. And they either are the quarks or make the quarks that become our atoms.

I'm able to picture this and to imagine it, and even describe it.
So what is the problem with the math?

That is why the inflationary models have trouble past a certain point.

I like the way you worded that. So what is purpose of string to you, entangled?

I know it but from not a mathematical description so much but from my rule one string interaction, change of quanta, spin and perpendicular change of direction to vortex ... do the quarks entangled do more then reel? .. the answer as in any dance, the result is then a share.
