Re: What are Strings made of???

I can't say I understand string theory -- I quess its a Planck length of string, whatever that is, and it moves like a wriggling worm. However what make one wiggling worm move at the same rate? Everything must be interconnedted in an x,y,z time-line and individual strings are just segments of a universal time-line like the repeditive ticks of a clock.

Re: What are Strings made of???

The real question is why there is movement in space. Everything in nature follows a time line -- one object moves in its chronological order while all other objects are fixed until their time to relocate. Point locations are a real thing as we know because we live in it and couldn't have movement without it. Movement must be relocating identities of point identity locations a unit away from where it was in the past. To make a string this must be considered as an option or where does the energy for whipping the string come from? A single time-line string is better than small strings that don't have a time-line. Also where do the 3-dimensions come from, are they just linear groupings like putting coins in 3 piggy banks x,y,z in that order to make 3-dimensions in chronological order. After all thats what is done in a Cartesian coordinate system -- (x y z) choose one from the group to set a direction. Then to find a diagonal the formula d = (x^2 + y^2 + z^2)^1/2. Take x^2 zig zag steps in the x-direction to travel a distance of x and then move on to they and do the same and then to the z and do the same.
