    sorrowing vexation in the brane

one of the disappointments in M-theory and superstring theories is experimental unverifiability and one of the tragedies is that one of the co-founders, during the early developments, namely Joel Scherk suffered a nervous breakdown and in 1979 committed suicide. This loss is a great setback to the small band of theory crusaders in the early 1980s. Did Scherk foresee the doomsday of superstring? Your guess is as good as mine.

The weakest link in the progressive chains of M-theory is its lack of a physical principle that can put in place the scaffoldings necessary for the growth and development of its mathematical substances.

I have herd little about this scientist, though I can say something. Wether he predicted that string theory was correct or not, why would that make him comitt suicide? it makes no sense......

String theory is a theory that NOW has no basic principal, that is true. but this is mainly because of its incredible revolutions and development in which it has gone through a strings-one.dimensional-thery, ending up in what it is today, a mixture of strings, supersimetry, begining of the universe, spacetime....... we could now say that it is in its streight direction of becoming a TOE. I don't see the question on this.

i'm suggesting M-theorists to look into my physical principle of directional invariance. Maybe, this is the principle they needed for robustness.

i invented the principle of directional invariance in order to satisty many of my own research questions:

    1. why energy is a scalar quantity?
    2. why mass is a scalar quantity?
    3. why force, momentum, angular momentum are vector quantities?
    4. why the different kinds of charge must be vectors quantities.

there are 8 properties of this principle

    1. top-right-forward
    2. top-left-forward
    3. top-right-backward
    4. top-left-backward
    5. bottom-right-forward
    6. bottom-left-forward
    7. bottom-right-backward
    8. bottom-left-backward

all these properties can be attributable to quantized space.

That's interesting that working with string theory essentially made that guy go crazy. Now I don't feel so odd after all

    more research questions:

    5. why time cannot be a vector quantity?
    6. what is the true meaning of parallel displacement?
    7. why density is a scalar?
    8. why temperature is a scalar?
    9. why entropy is a scalar?
    10. why distance is a vector?
    11. why area is a vector?
    12. why volume is a scalar?
    13. why can graviton be found?
    14. why can magnetic monopole be found?
    15. why pressure is defined in two different ways? As a scalar and as a vector.
    16. where are the antimatter?
    17 why helicity exists?

aha. All these are very big questions in scinece,, solving them woudl actually be a TOE.

But if the key question is solved the rest are just icing on the cake.

    true.

science has had an evolution from: what? when? where? how much? to more inteligent and profound questions, like how? and especially why? this last question is the key one to the TOE.
