Thumbs up Book I am writing

Hello. I'm writing a book on Scientology(tm) I would like to know if anyone here thinks a book that covers what it is and is not, and its relationship to the 1st amendment would hold any interest. I am not connected to the Churches of Scientology, but I know a great deal about the subject.

It will cover such subjects as "Rich Man's Religion?" and "What is the Freezone" (alternative to the Churches). Really would appreciate it if you let me know whether or not this book might interest you, or if you think there are others that would buy the book, and if so what kind of people would. (Like educators, students, attorneys, congresspersons, man-on-the-street)

Any imput, even negative, would be appreciated. Also if you think there is something that should be covered in that book, let me know. It is almost ready for print.

    some ideas

Hi freespirit. Your book would need to relate to the Theory of Everything in some way, to be of interest to the ToeQuest community. I am not all that familiar with Scientology, but if you are able to discuss underlying scientific principles or offer a new perspective on consciousness, reality, meaning of life, etc, then it may be of interest here. You could start a poll as a way to measure the interest level. Another idea is to start a thread or poll on Scientology in one of the Religion or Philosophy forums. If you have a website where you are selling your book you could become a sponsor of ToeQuest and have your website listed on the home page .

This response is in the negative so hear goes. You promised that you could handle a negative response.

I would not be interested in reading a book on Scientology. I'm not even interested in The Book of Scientology. However, in the spirit of the forums, if you want to discuss , I would be very interested to hear what you have learned. Also, don't let anyone stop you from writing a book. If you feel passionate about your work as an author, you should exercise that aspect of your life.

Please don't let one opinion discourage you. That would be a waste.

    Writing a book

Hi, Michelle! Thank you for answering! What a great thing that you can express your opinion. I wrote my book on Scientology and published it.

You said you would be interested in knowing something, my conclusions basically, so my conclusion is that the Church of Scientology(tm) has strayed from the intentions of its Founder since his death, and has made it impossible for most people to make progress on their way to truth. Too much cost to start with, too stringent on making people "perfect" with their basic courses, thus keeping them on the same place for a very long time.

It shows me that it isn't set up to free people, really. A few rich, maybe. There are independent people who don't belong to the Church anymore who offer the teachings at a reasonable cost. We call it the Freezone, and Freezone Scientology can be searched out on a search engine.

    Thank you again for communicating.

    Sincerely,
    Patricia Krenik

That's a great accomplishment. You've got me curious, now. What is the title of the book, and is it at Borders or Barnes & Noble? Freezone sounds like a nice compromise to failure and extremism.

Jump in anywhere in the forums. After a couple of posts, it starts to feel normal. We really just like to talk to each other. Not a bad alterior motive to have.

    Sincerely,
    Michelle

    My book

It is called Scientology(tm) vs. Scientology(tm) and I usually keep it available at ebay. I have it in ebook form and softcover.

    Best, Pat
