There is not so much destruction as recreation. That's why man invented recreation rooms. The Universal tendency is toward an ordered rationale of itself. Entropy is the Murphy's Law of Physics. Survival is programmed by what manifests life. Since it takes only a second to shake the table and bring down a house of cards then the so-called universal tendency toward increasing disorder must have stepped aside to permit life to exist. Lightning is frightening, but not out of place. The release of amino acid precursors into the atmosphere made life possible.
