Very fascinating site HappytheStripper. Still workn through information. Your idea about progress to this current moment and the reflection that has upon society dealing with all facets of religion/science/social/culture/technological of our species reminds me of ideas that terence mckenna has put forth. I def see underlying "program" of sorts being directed by collectives in all kinds of different waves/degree's/circles/steps with meeting of a one prime objective, which to me locally at this point for our species is direct confirmation of the collective mind/soul/overself of the species. The intelligence is accelerating every moment to lead us to this goal. Good analogy of a formation of collective would be "world wide web" you have servers,uploading/downloading, anyone in the world can "connect" to the INTER_net, I can buy a "domain" and make sourcepoint of information/ideas ect. very fascinating. Plus i get to the net using "windows" operating system, i push start on my "desktop" find the program to log on, or browser as they call it. funny stuff. kind like we mirrored it after our selves. we put ourselfinto a machine?

I am new to this forum.

This UCA concept has been a personal thread for me for about 10 years now.

I have been reading Josiah Royce's, : The World and the Individual: The Four Historical Conceptions of Being. (Dover Publications, New York, 1959)
This is my third time through it since 1970. I have even dug up the old notes. I am surprised at the insights that now emerge for me and that certainly remain in congruency with, and lack relatively little conflict with his thesis from c. 1900 to today.

I had to review the baseline of the individual notion "to be" so that I could have a better understanding of UCA.

I have experienced the collective or the grand connection of humanity in my experiences and observations of my fellow humans off the beaten track the world over. Technology has certainly facilitated the instantaneous conscious connections, as here, but I still revel in the simple face to face examples that I have had of that connection. I have carried those conscious connections with me since my first high level experience of being lifted into the hands of Harry Truman at the back of his campaign for the campaign toddler kiss. That may seem trite, but it is like a switch being closed for me. My consciousness has a touch point that runs back in time a bit from there, and forward to the reality of that as if it just happened.

My style here will be to remark and to report from a personal connection to the grand congruencies and conflicts of the present.

To find that this thread has been in existence since March 31 with a smattering of comments, it seems almost Ent like in development.
