Before We Figure Out the Theory of Everything
We Should Determine if Everything is Real

We have some hints that the Universe is projected. The projection may function as real to us and therefore there is still knowledge to be gained from learning its mechanics, that is, our local Theory of Everything, but if indeed it is a projection, then our local TOE becomes secondary, although still quite interesting, to the ultimate reality.



— These are the hints of a projected Universe —

1) The maximum entropy calculations for black holes suggest that our 3rd dimension plays no role.

(I make quatrains to help me remember things)

Since the entropy of a black hole is known
To depend on the surface area of the
Event horizon and NOT on its volume,
Then our third dimension may be a projection.


2) The paradox of photon pair correlation suggest that they are one and the same at a deeper level of reality.

Two apparently separate particles,
Created photon pair partners, copy the other,
When one is changed, because, perhaps, they are
Still the same thing in the projector room.


3) All is projected in night dreams, so perhaps our
waking reality is also real-ized. We know that our local reality probably consists of waves and fields. The apparent physical world seems to be a fine illusion, a useful model. Models of reality could be projected, since they ARE models.

All we “see” are the insides of our heads,
A model of reality. No, you say—
Well, it’s the same model “seen” in your dreams,
With your eyes closed and you in darkness, too!


4) Quantum physics indicates that there is no objective reality at the sub-atomic level, but that the golden touch of our consciousness makes it so.

In the eerie quantum world, all possible
And potential realities
Exist at once, in a superposition,
Until one emerges into reality.

The Midas-magic of our consciousness,
That quantum alchemist of potential,
Creates the Real from the Possible, for,
Everything it touches turns to matter!


5) Quantum physics also suggests that everything connects to everything, the same as is true of any point of a holographic interference pattern. Could this be what our reality consists of.

Every part of a hologram contains the whole,
The whole universe contained within a
Grain of sand, all eternity within a moment,
The universe rumbling when an electron vibrates.


6) Holograms, crude as they are today, show that 3D can be projected from 2D. This could be the mechanism through which local reality is projected.

Are we encodings of what happens in
Some other reality—in the deep
Interior of the unseen realm where
Everything connects to/is everything?

If the universe is holographic,
Then the tree in the forest, whether seen or not,
Is, at heart, an interference pattern
Brought to life only when we tune it in.

This is the mystery of the realness
Of sleeping dreams revealed: we tune in to
The interference patterns, whether awake
Or asleep, to bring alive the reality projected.


7) M=E/CC Matter may be a projection of energy.
Electrons are thought to be vibrations of superstrings, a sort of projection. Superstring energy may be a projection of actual reality. All shows that reality is not what is seems. It does seem, though, that something underlies matter.

Perhaps matter is more than just equivalent
To energy if it were transformed,
And more than equal to it, more or less—
It may be that matter IS energy.

Perhaps energy is projected by
Information or is a part of our
Reality illusion, as well, but,
We can’t stand on turtles all the way down!


Dark energy and dark matter, if real, again seem to be primary, as energy, to what we know as matter.

Only four percent of the Universe
Consists of the matter we know and love,
The remainder being hidden from us,
So perhaps this is what’s really in charge.


9) Consciousness, being only a subject, observes whatever objects are on the mind at the moment and thus seems to be a ground state that is the same for everyone. So perhaps it is akin to or is equal to the ground state of ultimate reality. It is called ‘I’ in the English language. Our projected reality would give ‘I’ something to do.
Is consciousness the purpose of life? If consciousness precedes birth and lives on after death, it would not have much to perceive, as do we when we meditate and remove all our thoughts. If consciousness is all that’s real then it may well have to be a part of the ultimate ground of all reality.

‘I’ equals ‘awareness’ of the mind’s state,
But, who or what, then, is this ‘I’, observing,
Which is all ‘I’ can do, transcending space,
Could it be the Ground-Of-All-Being itself?

10) We know that nature appears to be simple and efficient, for example the three types of cones in the retina, whether a useful illusion or what, respectively note the wavelengths of the three primary colors and their amounts by rotating accordingly and so allow us to see millions of color variations from just those three types of detectors, so perhaps holographic projections via interference patterns would be simpler than having actual matter.

We cannot see beyond the quantum realm;
The dusk of physical science arrives?
Well, who knows, for nature is efficient—
So, likely, simple answers will appear.



— OK, but where is the projection room —

A grand scale seems more likely than a zillion little superstring projectors, but they may be intermediates. I don’t really know why I am saying this, but it sounds good; for we are now quite beyond the reach of science and into metaphysics. Perhaps, we might think, the projector is the Universe itself, through its natural laws; however, if our premise is that the Universe is itself projected, we must go further back to what is the basis for our Universe or at least look for more clues in our Universe.

11) Well, although the Universe seems to be a house of cards, there has to be something for Atlas to stand on, someplace where the buck must stop, for there must be something real somewhere, for, obviously a state of nothingness is impossible, for here we are. Not much of a clue, but we had to state it. Even illusions need a basis.

The basis of the Universe was forever here,
For nothing can make itself from nothing at all;
Such, a state of nothing could never be, for there IS
Something—something that our consciousness interprets.


12) Since, in (11), we see that nothingness is impossible, there could be no Creation, so that’s not an answer and would only beg the question. Whatever reality actually is or comes from had to be always here. I wish that I could say that all could have been created out of nothing, but as for positive and negative energies completely canceling each other with no residue and vice-versa, and say, positive energy being separated far enough from the negative to form our universe, or pluses being embedded in matter with minuses making up gravity, we are still rather stuck in accounting for the sea of potential in which energy could form, which couldn’t be nothing. Oh well, nothing is easy, or, actually, not easy.


13) That sea of potential mentioned in (12), that which existed forever, seems to have more to it than our finite world. I’m not suggesting a super being, but something much simpler, although outside of our space and time, something timeless and infinite, whatever that means.

This then is the secret of the universe,
Knowing of that which underlies all reality:
Fundamental, absolute, indestructible,
Omnipresent, omnipotent, and all pervasive.


14) So, I ask all of you, what the heck is going on? Could this be:

The Infinite may radiate through a matrix,
Using Information or Energy to create
The Cosmic Background antenna which broadcasts
Interference patterns of virtual reality.

Following is a suggestion of the above from a friend, Dr. Arnold Wolf:

Many are suggesting that the cosmic background noise (CBR) found in every directions of our dimension may not be a remnant of the so-called Big Bang. It may just be that this microwave background radiance could be the source interference pattern of your Holograph in which our reality exists.
It is my impression that a light radiance passes through a very complex matrix somewhat like the DNA which we assume is the encoded key to all life forms. As an example, take a look at the following 80 light year long nebula that is so atypical as to look like the DNA we imagine in our mind's eye.

Why couldn't it be that our holographic universe be a product of a much more complex encrypted code matrix from which the microwave radiance (form of light) is somehow effected by striking a spinning matrix like DNA creating the fluctuations in our dimension that you describe.
It may appear that the projector room is everywhere but what creates the interference patterns which forms this very complex reality hologram? Could something like the rippled CBR be that esoteric radiant interference pattern? The light spectrum which science measures as the residual microwave background from the Big-Bang origin ex-nihilo.
I’m not saying that an aberrant 80 light year long nebula is the template matrix but might there actually be an encrypted DNA helix, one more complex than our own which when struck with an unknown radiance might form our CBR interference pattern and subsequent solid reality?
Might your intangible energy be that absolute radiance from the original ‘void’ side of some grand matrix, perhaps one carrying information like DNA does? Instead of a Big-Bang beginning of space time, a grid formed stretching the encrypted DNA template across an infinite abyss, dividing the non-wave/particle radiance between light and darkness. Absolute radiance began striking the matrix, instantly forming our now.

Why do you place so much confidence in such obscure periphery hypotheses? Most of what you are saying is pure fantasy used to sell SciFi and is not real science.

Quantum physics, E=MCC, entrophy, black holes, and holograms are all science. Reality may not be what it seems—nonobjective as in quantum physics, and may have many levels that are now intangible to us since we can observe only a limited portion of the spectrum of energy.

Other things such as projections in night dreams do seem quite real, but, are they? When dreaming we swear that they are; upon waking we see that they were not. Even when lucidly dreaming, the scenery tests solid when we inspect it. Who or what is the director/producer of these dramas and how can this virtual reality be so perfectly formed? Is the same model employed when we are awake?

Counterintuitive notions may lead to quantum jumps of revelation.
