    Measure

    MEASURE

To measure nature with absolute certainty,
one would need a tool of absolute certainty.
    Unfortunately for science,
    there is no such thing!
    Measure?

Well said MJA,I tend to agree with that statement, what is the real measure of man?
Only an absolute mathamatician has a ruler to cover the job,and there are none of those
    resident on this planet.

Prehaps when we realise that we are all equal to one, then the ruler will meSURE ITSELF?

Sorry for making a joke as below:

Perhaps some of the quoted words can be interpreted (as with a dictionary) as:
ruler: one, such as a monarch or dictator, that rules or governs
    me: self
    SURE: sure
    ITS: its
elf: a small, often mischievous creature considered to have magical powers

So, the phase "the ruler will meSURE ITSELF?" will becomne somewhat a wisdom:
The monarch will self sure its elf?

Dear Michael, One more question, is your unusual font meSURE ITSELF already imply me sure itself? All because you typed meSURE!

    Science progresses sometimes by accidents!

    Best Regards.

Dear bottomlander, you are most welcome to comment here,I am a lover of humour,
meSURE ITSELF could also be read as I-SURE,for when the "true" measure of man is
fully "REAL-I-zed,there will just be MAN left,NOT Men?

    regards michael.

    Re: Measure

    Dear Michael,

I enjoy both my implication and your additional message.

After I left the internet a few hours ago, I noticed that meSURE might be caused by the trouble of the keyboard while you were typing the word measure.

So, "a" is missing and "SURE ITSELF." became all capitals.
Anyhow, me a sure still good fits the implications we talked previously.

Without accidents, some historically honored ideas will never spark.

    Best Regards. Bottomlander

    Re: Measure

Measure is just a technical issue.

Even though thousands of years ago, measure was helpful to develop geometry, measure is no more of theoretical importance nowadays.
Measure remains in use just for laboratory and confirmatory purposes.

Prehaps the true measure of man is the depth of his vision of inclusiveness?

Glad that MJA and Michael indicated that measure exceeds physical/technical measurements.

It is nice for measure = review.
People should work on that, and should work more than philosophical/metaphysical concerns.

    Glad your interested, Bottomlander.

I would add: the quest for nature's truth or TOE., will be found on the path that questions or reviews the certainty or truth of measure.
