Your symbol for example, three circles interlocking, is just as illustrative as two circles interlocking. Actually two circles is a bit simpler and still carries all the same information me thinks, but all the information is there in both of them.
It's a little difficult to represent Trinity, or three quarks, or a three ring circus with just 2 rings:

hats off to you Profpat and i have always enjoyed our discussions.

Are you a former member reincarnated as xxyy?

Best to all,

Re: I've found the application for your equation to unify forces - 05-23-2008, 02:34 AM

I sense an urgency in your writing xxyy and you seem much like a rubber band at full stretch. I can certainly understand your excitement - there are many effects from this realisation. I'm still reeling from it.

It looks like you've had time to get your head around the idea and I'm certainly proud. I've had just a few weeks and there is so much to consider - or perhaps - reconsider.

It was very interesting to see your answer to the difference between infinity and everything. The reason my equation exists without a negative infinity is because there is no "negative infinity" - there is only one infinity. This is the same as your everything! If you haven't checked out my infinity paradox article, check it out, as I explain it better there. And I do agree with Pat that infinity is not a number.

You are right in that the two circles interlocking doesn't strike me as meaningful. I've had some shapes of my own floating around but have been quick to ignore them as I feel any of them will leave something out and my guess is that any image is just the same thing but at a different stage. That may well be where ProfPat and yourself are aligned.

I think we are looking at applying what we know into different fields because we come from different fields. You are focusing on the positive and negative aspects as a key part of your work which I have the feeling might be a one step removal from the original equation but I could well be wrong. It is hard for me to see the same thing through your eyes as I'm too used to mine! It is incredible to see the same thing (the equation) producing such varied applications. I guess it is the ToE after all!

I've not considered a Big Rip but there is the smell of some style of a singularity in the near future. I know they're not the same thing but once the ToE hits the fan - shit begins to happen! I just hope I have some popcorn ready when it REALLY happens.

It would be just our luck that the LHC kicks in and blasts us through space, time and every other dimension. I doubt it though.

I'm not sure what feedback you've had on the equation but it's like it has to spark in you or you can never fully understand. For me, it literally woke me up at 3am - bang! Like, I'm a good sleeper normally and nothing like this has ever happened before. I wasn't even trying to come up with it - it just happen and when it did, I knew what it was.

So what I will say is this; the realisation has applications, for sure. To me they are interesting and I'd love to follow them. All of them! There does however seem to be something even greater involved. I could be talking out my arse but I feel like I'm about to transcend. This is crazy. To what or where, I don't know but at the same time I do know. In some ways I know I'm already there but at the same time I'm not. Perhaps I've had too much coffee. But this is nuts!

With regards to LHC it would be unlikely that a black hole could destroy the world even if it formed and was stable. For a start the density of an object with the mass of a mountain its size would be much smaller than the head of a pin. More like the point of a pin if that.

As heavy as a mountain is it is still gravitationally light. One tends to be drawn more to their beauty than their gravity. If a few atoms were taken (hypothetically) the energy in deconstructing an atom is huge and the black hole would more likely violently repel mass until each atom was absorbed.

It is still a microscopic gravity well (hypothetically) and so any photons would need to climb out of a gravity well assuming they do not get closer than the event horizon and would be extremely blue light if visible. Then because of these reasons the micro black hole could virtually treat the world as if it were nothing more than a light gas, rocks and all.

Wikipedia reference the barycenter of two masses for the earth moon system varies with an average just within the planet some 0.73 of the distance from the center to the surface of earth. Not bad because the barycenter for the solar system to the sun is much closer to the sun and so in short order the black hole would drift to a natural position. It is some 1.07 the distance from the sun's center meaning just outside the surface of the sun thanks to the mass of Jupiter.

Our only problem is if in some of the drifting before exiting the earth a connection was made that disrupted natural barriers. That could be very bad but not in any way earth swallowing.
