The former partakes of the sweet and the bitter fruits of
The Tree of Life while the latter looks on,

"Truth, Righteousness, Peace, Love and Non-violence."
Good posting, r.p.bibra,
Some human values seem to be getting taught more in the schools, such as the effects of drunk-driving, sexually transmitted diseases, albeit under health values.
Emphasis could next be put on avoiding meanness, gossip, lies, etc, in favor of decency and your five points.
It would not be necessary to bring in the supernatural, as these human values relate to the treatment of other humans.
No one could argue with such black-and-white values being taught.

Prof. tests a puny mind! Pl. don’t, the pupil, as usual will fail the test. There are only five fundamental values, others are their derivatives and love is their mother. We can have as many values as we like, but they should be universally applicable, and should not change and cater to particular castes, creeds and nationalities, No child is born a wise, though each one is equipped with the quality of intellect. Human values keep latent unless made patent. Seeds sown by a farmer need timely irrigation, manure, pesticides and a fence round the field to protect from stray animals, similarly the human mind too needs a right atmosphere for the blossoming of latent values. Love is the only attribute which provides that. All others just follow, as these are its accessories.love & regards.ls.

The battle is the same one, fought on the same ground, for the same prize, for all time, all over the Earth.
TWO WOLVES
One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a
battle that goes on inside people.
He said, "My son, the battle is between two
"wolves" inside us all.
One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret,
greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false- pride, superiority, and ego.
The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility,
kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather:
"Which wolf wins?"
The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

AWARENESS
Mind can never be intelligent - only no-mind is intelligent.
Only no-mind is original and radical. Only no-mind is revolutionary - revolution is action.
This mind gives you a sort of stupor.
Burdened by the memories of the past, burdened by the projections of the future, you go on living - at the minimum.
You don't live at the maximum. Your flame remains very dim.
Once you start dropping thoughts, the dust that you have collected in the past, the flame arises - clean, clear, alive, young.
Your whole life becomes a flame, and a flame without any smoke.
That is what awareness is.
"When I dare to be powerful, to use my strength in the service of my vision, then it becomes less and less important whether I am afraid".
''Those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind''.
''Oneness is the key to dissolve duality and move us into the greater reality''.

I have my theory - and it explains (to me anyway) every crappy thing humans have done in all of known human history!
Theoretically if the root of all evil is identified then we may be able to see how we contribute to it and do something about it.
But if at the end of this forum when I disclose my own answer and you might disagee - then you can have an opportunity to challenge my answer.
Why don't you have a go at thinking this one through.
