Heaven

Many people are taught that One must die to attain Heaven, to be with God, the pearly gates, Saint Peter, and all those faiths and what nots. I would say it is attainable right here, in the living, in the present, in the now.
Heavenly paridise any One?

The Cosmos is all there ever was and will be––and the same for us on Earth; this is it. Heaven and Hell are inside one's self in what one makes of life.

I agree. Why do we need to wait for the day that we die before we get to heaven? Can we not bring heaven on earth? Little things that we do, they can make our lives a little bit better each day. And as we continue our efforts to make our lives livable a little each day, it piles up. And before we know it, we are all living in bliss and happiness, even when we are not yet dead.

Heaven and hell are within us as austin so rightly said in a previous post,we make it what we are and what we do,if we want heaven which is just another word for harmony inner calm and poise,then we have to take some action and responsibility to ensure that it occurs within our life,first and foremost is that we are responsible as to what we are inside,we can have turmoil or tranquility depending on our inner state,I have found that living as best you can within the ever present now plus daily meditation helps to bring about inner peace and harmony which is in fact bringing heaven (harmony) down to earth.
