Your suggested solution for nonlocal effects is also mine. Physicists generally assume a communication via spacetime to explain such correlations, with advanced and retarded waves flashing backwards in forwards in time quite as if they knew where they had to be next and when.
In the Buddhist view, as far as I can figure it out, the explanation would be the identity of all points in spacetime. Spacetime extension would be real in a conventional view but unreal in an absolute view. Here we can think of the 'hypothesis of duality' proposed by some physicists, by which, if I haven't misunderstood it, spacetime is fundamental or not-fundamental depending on how we look at it. Score another one for Nagarjuna.
