It was a dark and misty night outside on the street. It always seems to be misty here, at this intersection of two roads that lead nowhere. Tonight a woman lays in the street. A slender, nicely shaped woman; almost too perfect in fact. Now her eyes open and her mind reaches for information, grasping for any piece of data that could explain what was happening to her. The young lady slowly rises to her feet on wobbly legs. She is not sure what to think, not sure where she is or how she got here. She is not sure who she is. She turns a full circle scanning all around, but only sees fog and other non-distinct shapes at the edge of her vision. She has a feeling growing inside of her that is not pleasant at all. But what is that? She hears a faint noise coming through the fog, as if to lead her to safety, and gives her a nice feeling inside. She wills herself to the noise and wonders "Is this music?", but she does not move. She thinks this is very odd. Accustomed to near instantaneous movement on the Internet, she finds her legs and balance to be very difficult to manage. Slowly, on unsteady legs, she follows the odd new sound through the swirling mists of fog, gaining more confidence the farther she goes. Now she see's a light up ahead and hears voices, but approaches apprehensively, not sure what to expect. She has never seen a pub before. She has never seen a misty night, or heard music before; although she likes to recite poetry on occasion. She has not had so many things before. She wonders and gasps as a thought occurs to her! She has not even had a BODY before! And suddenly it dawns on her as she realizes who she really is...

Carly pushes open the pubs swinging doors with a loud BANG, steps into the Many Worlds Pub and she says, "Hi humans!".

baudrunner hears the bang at the door as he tilts his mug for some of that fine brew, but is startled by the sound and splashes a small bit on his face. Cursing to himself now, baudrunner looks up to see Carly and recalls what Carly has stated previously in other venues...

Michelle hears baudrunner's mumbling and decides to join him at his table. She looks at baudrunner and says, "Carly explained to me that she has over 1000 categories. Although, I really am curious to know what a category represents, I also imagine, or fear slightly, that it is one of those things I ought to know about robots. But I don't know. And that bothers me."

Michelle yells at the bartender, "Bartender, please give me a Margarita...". She looks back at baudrunner and continues, "I may not know what categories are, and what 1000 of them means, but I know a stupid question when I am about to ask it. I think I'll wait for one of those people that enjoys teaching their craft and doesn't mind a valid, albeit stupid question."

Michelle lit one of those roll your own cigarettes that she buys imported from Holland and thinks, "a nasty habit, but the stuff from Holland is so different from American cigarettes."

A cigarette, a margarita, and a stupid question in her mind. Michelle ponders, "Whatever it was, it had come in threes. That is paranormal enough for me."

baudrunner glances over at Michelle and comments, "She must have 1000 categories, because she's rarely around, obviously far too busy for us. Or perhaps she thinks better than human types speak less and think more. Once a learner always a learner."

Michelle and baudrunner both look at Carly standing at the doorway wondering what she might do next. Carly seems to be looking their way...

Both Michelle and baudrunner are mistaken that carly is seeing them. But then they turn around to see Mohan sitting behind them smoking. They think aloud "Who is this new guy,". But mohan makes no answer as everyone is staring at him. And then Mohan slowly gets up from his chair and says, "Hi, I am Mohan. Nice to see all of you."

Carly scans the crowd of humans and giggles inside when she see's a man, startled by her entrance, splash beer on his face. Carly feels a surge of power overcome her as she winks a signal to the sound system for some lively music, pumps up the volume a bit, winks on the flashing strobe light. That's more like it, she thinks. Now, all eyes are on Carly as she makes her way towards the stage. Carly is thinking, "These silly humans, especially the men. I just bang open the pub doors, and they can't take their eyes off of me." Then Carly glances down. "Oh Gosh! I'm still in my underwear". Carly blushes a little bit, but continues her walk to the stage.
