Robert enters the pub, orders a Guinness from the long bar, and sits down at a table, in the middle of the pub, all by himself. He takes a drink of his beer and then starts pounding his head on the table. Suddenly, Robert hears the speakers squeal loudly and looks up to see someone crying into the microphone on stage. He thinks he ears something about Bill Gates and maybe unix or linux or something. He's not really sure.

Robert starts pounding his head on the table again. Thump...Thump...Thump. Robert lifts his head with a wild look in his eyes and yells out loud so all can hear him, "I've Got Sooooo Much To Do, Where Will I Ever Find the TIME". Robert quickly downs the rest of his beer. Thump... Thump... Thump

Despina sit's by Robert, tend's to his poor thumping head with an ice pack and joins him with a drink of ozo and some words of comfort.

Robert feels a presence nearby and slowly lifts his head. As the fog clears from Robert's aching head he thinks he sees the person who was, only moments ago, talking into the microphone on the stage. Robert humbly thanks Despina for the ice pack and words of comfort. But there is a far away look in Robert's eyes. Robert opens his mouth to speak but hesitates, as if he is searching for the right words to express his inner turmoil. He leans forward and in a very hushed tone Robert says, "I keep buying books and yet I have no time to read them all!".

Thump... Thump... Thump...

The guille enters the pub, goes to the left, and tries to find Robert. He goes to him and tells him something that is absolute true:

"I own a bank called the World Time Bank (WTB). I can give you time: hours, days, moths, years, centuries.....even milleniums!" He get's even clsoer to robert and, drinks some beer and continues "You just have to pay...remember, that with time, you can do all you can't do now....I give you time, and you pay in thoughts. My bank will own "only" a 40% of all your thoughts, being able to do whatever, with your ideas, stole your inventions, etz....What do you say?...deal?

Robert thinks he is hearing voices in his head. He again looks up and shakes his head to clear the fog. He thinks he sees a young man drinking a beer, but being very careful to hide the beer from the bartender's threatening glare. The voices begin their relentless chatter again. What are they saying this time? Something about a bank? Trading thoughts for more time? A deal of some kind the voices, no, the one voice is saying. The fog clears. "This young man is offering me all the time I want if I only give up 40% of my thoughts", Robert thinks. Robert thinks this is tempting and realizes that he could make up for his lost thoughts by asking for enough time so that he can think as many, and even more thoughts, than he could before. Just takes more time, but Robert realizes he has all the time he wants.

Robert is about to make the deal but then, with mounting fear and horror Robert realizes that he has no thoughts of his own to give away. Thoughts are an illusion only. We are only automatons and use our thoughts to rationalize our behavior, not to control our behavior. There is no I to give away thoughts. There is no I to make a deal. There is no I. Robert mumbles as he lowers his head into a world of dreams... "I don't think, therefore I'm not".

Robert begins to snore...

Guille doesn't stand disagreements with him. He is right, he must be. At least, this is what he thinks.

Guille realises what Robert had in his head in order to not make a deal with him, and he proceeded in his un-disagreeable arguments

"If "Cogito ergo sum" impplies that "No cogito ergo NO sum" I don't know. But I know that if a human can think that he doesn't exist because he doesn't think, then he is thinking, so he must think, therefore be. I don't know what exactly "I" is, but I can give you an obverall: your body and mind; your thought and perception; your world and you. Now, you are being egoist." Robert looks with a strange face at guille, whocontinues by giving an explenation "Yes, Robert, you are. Please sit down, I'm going to tell you something that requiers a beer in hand, a confortable chair, and wide open ears." They both move to the right and sat, after a few silent moments, guille proceeds. "You are thinking in your existence, in your body, your mind, your thoughts...You are thinking about why do you need time, if you already have enough time for you, your body and mind. But, and this I can tell you by my experience, all of my clients, all, agreed with us, not for them, but for "they". They, is the world. Your world, Robert, your places, your events, your occupations, you acts, behaviour, facts...And most specially....your people. Your people robert, those who are your friends or family, those who know you, those who you know, those who you talk with, those who talk with you... And, one day, you may realise that it is too late for you, you have nothing to offer them for their partition in your life, and you will die, like all of us, but you can choose how to. Now, make us happy all, it's in your hand: I give you my spare time, you give me your spare thoughts, I gain requiered ideas, you gain required moments".

And within a moment, guille saw himself at the outside door of the pub, walking to his car, knowing that he had a new client (or atleast he thought), and planning when to come back.

while profet was siting in another table thinking and trying phrases in his head to get near his old friends he sees guille and goes next to him , he has heard the conversation about the WTB and decides to offer guille 60% of his thoughts to guille, as long as guille new, this profet had very interesting thoughts, but what guillw didnt know is that among profet thoughts there were some that would corrupt guilles sense of reality.

so he said : we have a deal?
profet had a wicked smile, but it was for guilles own good.

Guille also smiled, at the thought that he was cheating his friend by having won a bigger percentage of thoughts that what should have been dealed. When he is in his office, he gives the thought box of profet to his workers, who analized it with the strang modern and industrial machines. They checked something, and they told guille "Guille, the box that you gave us from your frined has a thought that states that he is giving you this box so that it corrupts you and makes you religious and believe in god, but he is so stupid (sorry friend) that he didin't realise that one of these thoughts was the thought about this>"·. Guille smiled, he knew his friend from a long time, and he knew that his frined was going to make such a box that it had thoughts to make people think like him, but he thought that his friend was smarter, and would have checked the error. So guill ecame back to the pub, gave the box of thoughts to profet, and profet, angry, opened it and the thoughts went to him. He didn't check if the thoughts were the ones that were given by him to guille...

profet smiles and realises that hes been fooled, so, the box gets back to guille and profet says:
"you need some TIME to think about this"

alex doesnt leave the pub, but as long as he stops looking at guille he is in a new conversation.

undef00 reenters the pub after not existing matter enabled him to already get a look inside the pub - so - undef00 while playing around with his nose orders a combination of orange and apple juice (sure undef00 has heard of strict rules in regards to alcohol consum in this pup) -undef00 at this point of time doesn't want to take any risks whatsoever - undef00 overall is impressed by guille's owned wtb and doesn't care for any details - undef00 just asks guille: instead of giving you 40% of my thoughts for whatever time - i offer you now to give you 100% of my thoughts in exchange for the wtb - further if you go with just 40% of my thoughts now and i decide (as i own 60%) tomorrow i don't want to have anymore time from you then you may never find more than 40% of my thoughts - but on the other hand if i give you 100% of my thoughts today and you give me in exchange the wtb we may change back and forth just as we like .... undef00 gets rid of the apple organge liquid by kind of down in one ... and waiting for guilles decision ... undef00 asks robert: may i instead of paying for the drink with dollars pay with my time being here and letting you know some of my thoughts? undef00 just thinks for hisself: great pub i'm sure i'll be back soon ...
