Rules of the Pub

As you can see, this is a very special pub, with no other like it anywhere in the world. This Pub exists only in your imagination, which doesn't really exist anyway. In this pub, reality, as you know it, can split into separate time-lines or threads of existence at any time. Each thread exists in its own reality. You have now crossed over into the Many-Worlds Pub.

I have just a few rules that need to be followed to avoid paradoxes, inconsistencies, time loops, etc. If you break the rules, the bartender gets very upset!

The Pub Rules

1. You must speak in the third person unless you are replying to the sticky threads.
2. Each thread represents a timeline and should move forward sequentually as you would ordinarily experience time.
3. There will be many time-lines, started by different members, and they are all occurring simultaneously with the assumption that the many-worlds view of Quantum Mechanics to be true.
4. You may start multiple threads or time-lines, but you must not refer to the you in other time-lines or a paradox could result.
5. You may refer to any other time-line you wish. A wormhole (i.e. hyperlink) can be used to refer to the other time-line.
6. Please do not hijack a thread. When posting to a thread make sure that your post adds value to the story as initiated by the thread starter.
7. Use the spell checker when posting.
8. If your story is kind of boring I will edit it to add some excitement! My narration will be the color of this rule, so you can tell what I added. If you don't like my narration feel free to change it.
9. Each new thread should start with some kind of entrance to the pub from outside.

Be aware that to keep the Pub consistent I may need to modify your narrative to remove inconsistencies, paradoxes, and actions that defy the laws of physics.
