KUNDALINI The Creative Impetus of Any/All 'Theories-of-Everything' imho

I was now all consciousness, without any outline,
without any idea of a corporeal appendage, without
any feeling or sensation coming from the senses,
immersed in a sea of light simultaneously conscious
and aware of every point, spread out, as it were, in
all directions without any barrier or material
obstruction. I was no longer myself, or to be more
accurate, no longer as I knew myself to be, a small
point of awareness confined in a body, but instead
was a vast circle of consciousness in which the body
was but a point, bathed in light and in a state of
exaltation and happiness impossible to describe.
Gopi Krishna said that soon afterwards he was able to see the
life-energy—called prana in India—as it moved throughout his
nervous system and brain. This ability to observe the operation
of his internal organs continued throughout his life. The
inner changes wrought by the “super-intelligent, living electricity”
resulted in the same intellectual illumination *Dr. Maurice Bucke
    found in the wide range of subjects that he had studied. [*Author of Cosmic Consciousness}

‘No amount of material wealth and prosperity can save mankind from the depredations committed by highly gifted, amoral men, pursuing ambitious goals, in whom Kundalini is awake in a malignant form.’

Their hold over the masses being irresistible, and their military skill unequalled, even one specimen of this class, in the present state of technological knowledge, can play havoc with the whole of humanity and all it has achieved during the last many thousand years.

The only silver lining in the dark clouds threatening mankind at present is the recognition by science, after a thorough investigation, of this almighty Law. The race can no longer afford (now or in the decades to come) to play with fire and allow her own ignorance of the awful Law to result in the continued birth of evil geniuses, fatal to the survival of the race. The point now arises as to how a divine power, designed to lead the race to unimaginable heights of glory, peace, and happiness in the outer world and to transcend states of consciousness in the inner, can be diverted from its natural course that it produces virtual monsters for the destruction and torment of the race. The answer to this very relevant question is not hard to find. It is the ignorance of the Law and the lack of cooperation on the part of the surface consciousness with the hidden operations of the evolutionary force that are at the bottom of the catastrophe. All the Revelations by the known prophets of the past, to more or less extent, contain precious hints about the ways of life to be followed to avoid resistance to or obstruction in the process of evolution which, as always happens in the case of violations of any natural law, can be disastrous both for the individual and the race.

This is the reason Revelation came to guide mankind. Like the nature of the Law, its enormous implications and effects were and are even now unknown. Every prophet and seer born on earth came, in fact, knowingly or unknowingly to draw attention to this occult Law.

~F. Scott Fitzgerald

    • Myth & The Body: A Colloquy with Joseph Campbell

    A review from Somatics Journal
A review by Grover E. Criswell
A review by Dr. John Conger

In 1973, two pioneers in their respective fields---Stanley Keleman and Joseph Campbell---began to hold what would be fourteen annual seminars, to trade their thoughts on the subject of mythology and the body. This recently published book, Myth & the Body, is based largely on the transcriptions from these years of taped seminars. Campbell and Keleman shared the belief that myths describe the experiences of the body and, in fact, are metaphors for internal body states.

Stanley Keleman says in the introduction, "Myths serve a practical function. They enable people to organize the experience of their own bodies. Myths are a collective dream of a culture and are no different than a personal dream."

Campbell, America's first comparative mythologist, asks, "Where do myths come from?" He views them as products of the human imagination and grounded in the energies of the body. Campbell retells the story of Parsifal, the medieval legend, as a somatic narrative of a youth from adolescence to mature adulthood. Myths educate us about how to tell our stories to others and how to understand the experiences that make a life.

Whether your interest lies in psychology or mythology--or both--you are sure to be fascinated by the connections forged by two original and celebrated thinkers.

    SOMA-DAISEN-ZEITGEIST-H.S.-AWAKENING Of COSMIC CONSCIOUSNESS KUNDALINI
Somatics- n. pl. (constructed as singular)
"1. The art and science of the interrelational process between awareness, biological function and environment, all three factors being understood as a synergistic whole: The field of Somatics.
    2. The study of the soma, soma being the biological body of functions by which and through which awareness and environment are mediated.
    3. In common usage, somatics relates to somas of the human species, whose sensoria are relatively free from the determination of genetically fixed behavior patterns, thus allowing learning to determine the interrelational process between Awareness, biological function and awareness.
[Greek, somatikos, soma, somat- body. French, Somatique.]"
    --Thomas Hanna

    4. In the field of somatics according to Thomas Hanna, a founding thinker in the field of somatics, he defines the soma as 'the experience of the body' as subjectively experienced by the consciousness who inhabits it. In otherwords, the individual who perceives/senses and experiences 'the living body in its wholeness'.

Re: KUNDALINI The Creative Impetus of Any/All 'Theories-of-Everything' imho

    What an excellent thread title.

Now, this KUNDALINI subject, is my favorite subject, so i shall feel quite at home here.... so thanks for starting the thread.

Here is my first input as follows......

We all know what yoga is, but do we realize it directly?
Yoga simply means a reuniting with the source,
being in union with creator source.
Or returning home, that is not to be taken literally,
home is always and always will be herenow.
How many of us really know what yoga is, and how realizing it impacts our very reality.

We can all, each and everyone of us realize it,but how many of us,
so often do not even know of it's existence in the first place, .. Why is that?

Well, because we habitually trap ourselves unknowingly into our own little private personal world,
as a limited separate, self serving, man made mindset ,
ego based, and one purely of our own making.

We take it upon ourselves to perceive our reality the way ''we'' think it should be.
We fail to surrender to the now not allowing the now to be as it should be,
or as it is naturally arising, without controlling it.

Our own families, cultural and social conditionings are responsible for this.
However, if we are to progress, & evolve, we have to break our negative limited thinking habits,
before we could ever hope to move forward.

I'm sorry to say, it's going to take a long time for this simple truth to take hold.
As we are ALL as a collective, responsible for the reality we create.

So why don't we recognize where our true power lies?

Basically, we think that our happiness can only ever come from the external world,
we fail to realize, the world is temporal, transient, non-lasting,
and un-fulfilling and yet we are conditioned to believe that's how we fulfill our life,
and so we'd rather invent a past and a future for ourself.

This gives us a sense of autonomy which is fair enough, we quite naturally want to do that.
What we don't realize is, we don't need to do that, because our lives unfold effortlessly anyway.
Doing is done naturally, automatically, by unseen universal laws & forces.

If we'd only allow for these natural forces to work through us, instead of resisting them,
we can experience the power and potential they hold for us.

If we feel isolated and separated for instance, we are only cutting ourselves off from the whole,
we then get trapped in a kind of dark energy mind set,
whereby we completely overlook the awesome and effortless power of the now.

The now is every-thing, it is the ''whole'' of all creation appearing herenow, One without a second.
There is no separation to be found anywhere.

As soon as we start thinking about separation, immediately we tense up, contract,
we cut ourselves off from our true power source, our true self,
which of course is eternal boundless, unlimited, unconditional, being of love and light.

We mis-indentify with our known reality, and feel limited by time and space.
Feeling ever more isolated, so then what do we do, we make up for this illusional lack and fear,
by inventing futures that don't exist or we dwell on pasts that don't exist either.

All we ever do is end up back to the beginning again, back to square one, which makes us feel worse.

This man made mind game of life becomes habitual & self perpetuating,
we end up getting trapped in old worn out negative belief systems, feeling powerless,
thus limiting our thoughts of their true potential.

We should be able to fully utilize the real power in our lives by awakening our kundalini and aligning ourself with the absolute creative power of the now.
To realize that within the absolute void of the eternal now.....absolutely anything is possible.
It is here and only here that our true destiny as a human species can ever be truly fulfilled.

    Prison of our own making.

Thank you Melanie for your, as always, very lucid post.

    This Little Light of Mine.
They can imprison my body but never my soul.
The Flame may fliker, but it still shines Bright.

In my heart there burns a Flame
    and it's a Holy Fire.

How I long to be with Him
    that's my hearts desire.

    Oft within that Holy Place
    and kneeling at His Throne.

He is always there for me
    and I Am not alone.

OM NIMAH SHIVAYA [ I bow to my Inner Lord who resides there.]

It appears at times, a tag-team match; Me against the World.
But I have Buddha as my partner.
When the tag is made, He enters the middle of the ring, and sitting in there, the conflict is over.

He is very Light on His feet, and very Sweet.

Re: KUNDALINI The Creative Impetus of Any/All 'Theories-of-Everything' imho

Another nobody I agree with alot...

Why would we have to go that far for a perspective?? Well most people think the Nazi Regime framework of thought was destroyed in 1945. However the equation of thought which formed the foundational base was:

Corporatism which works out to Corporatism = Globalism which is just Corporatism with a new name.

We are drowning in Globalism and consumerism which means the framework of thought never died at all.

So you see sometimes a big leap backwards becomes the strong motivation for humanity to stop making the same suicidal mistakes...history has shown our proclivity to historically repeat our past mistakes...

Tis true that we must search our hearts but the fact that our heart and our brain are encased together in our own biological reality simply tells us we cannot use only one at the expence or sacrafice of the other...the heart in communion with intelligence is wisdom and wisdom is purely the deductive reasoning we need to save the future from the past....

    Mikal

Thank You for your vigilance Mikal.
Seperation of corporation and State is Divine.
Any wonder why they[Gov.] perpetuate the ignorance[national security, homeland security, etc]??? Until they gain world control, then look out everybody. [think its bad now? I can already hear the gnashing of teeth. lol, sad actually]

Re: KUNDALINI The Creative Impetus of Any/All 'Theories-of-Everything' imho

    Inspirational Living: ~Dr. Wayne Dyer

    ** Chapter 18
How Life Looks When I Am Inspired **

"Give me a man who sings at his work."
    Thomas Carlyle

"They can because they think they can."
    Virgil

I'd like to acknowledge right from the outset that I don't live at
this level of being in-Spirit 100 percent of the time -- like most
everyone else, I occasionally have lapses and feel uninspired. Yet
these moments have become rarer and rarer; in fact, it's difficult
for me to recall a day in the past several years when I felt
    completely uninspired.

What follows is a personal account of both how I feel inside and
what seems to take place in the world around me when I feel connected
to Spirit in the ways that I've written about.

    **Jack**

The same day that I completed Chapter 17 and read
it over the telephone to my editor, Joanna, on Bainbridge Island,
Washington, I had the most profoundly mystical experience of being
in-Spirit in all of my 65 years. The photograph on the cover of the
book is a re-creation of what happened.

When I finished up with Joanna, I went for my daily hour-long walk
along the beach... but for some reason I elected to take a slightly
different route along a grassy area adjacent to the beach. I was
recalling my friend Jack Boland, a Unity minister in Detroit, who
crossed over about a decade ago. Jack loved monarch butterflies,
often telling stories of how he marveled at these paper-thin
creatures who migrated thousands of miles in high winds and returned
to the same branch on the same tree where they first emerged from
their cocoons. Before Jack passed away, I presented him with a
beautiful paperweight containing a dead monarch that I'd found in
perfect condition. When he died, his wife returned it to me, telling
me how much Jack loved that gift and how much he admired these
amazing creatures who had such mysterious intelligence built into
their brains, which are the size of a pinhead.

Jack always told me to "be in a state of gratitude," and he ended
every sermon with this message to God: "Thank You, thank You, thank
You." On three occasions since his death, a monarch butterfly has
landed on my body. Since these creatures studiously avoid human
contact, each time this has happened I've thought of Jack and
thought, Thank You, God- thank You, thank You.

Anyway, as I walked, feeling grateful for having completed the
second-to-last chapter of book, a monarch landed on the ground,
three feet in front of me. I said Jack's magic words to myself (Thank
You, God-thank You, thank You), and felt deep appreciation for my
life and the beauty of the day. The butterfly stayed right there
until I approached, then he flapped his wings several times and flew
away. Thinking of Jack and feeling a little bewildered and immensely
thankful, I watched this creature in flight, now 40 or 50 yards away.

As God is my witness, the butterfly made a U-turn and not only
headed in my direction, but landed right smack on my finger! Needless
to say, I was shocked -- but not totally surprised. I must confess
that it seems to me that the more I stay in-Spirit, the more I
experience synchronicities similar to this one. But what followed did
border on the incredulous, even for me.

This little creature became my constant companion for the next two
and a half hours -- he sat first on one hand and then moved to my
other hand, never even coming close to flying away. He seemed to be
trying to communicate with me by moving his wings back and forth, and
even opening and closing his tiny mouth as if attempting to speak...
and as crazy as it may sound, I felt a deep affinity to this precious
living being. I sat on the ground and simply stayed with my new
fragile friend for 30 or so minutes. Then I called Joanna from my
cell phone, and she was also stunned by the synchronicity, insisting
that I somehow get a picture of this event.

At this point I decided to return to my home, approximately a mile
from where I was sitting, with my new companion. I returned along the
beach walk, where the winds were brisk -- the butterfly's wings were
pushed by these high gusts, but he clung to my finger, and even moved
to another hand without making any effort to leave. As I walked, I
encountered a four-year-old girl with her mother. The girl was
sobbing over some perceived tragedy in her young life, and when I
showed her my "pet" butterfly, her expression went from sad to
blissful in one split second. She smiled from ear to ear and asked me
