Hi, Unreal Zelta.
Contrary to your beliefs, Moderators are just other posters with all the usual time constraints that life entails...
As you insist on a public forum to explain the reasons for moderating your posts, I will state, one last time, what I have already disclosed, both via PM and publicly in another poster's thread, on three previous occasions:
When a deletion is made, it is normal practice to further delete other posts which may reference the deleted post. This avoids disjointed references and restores flow and relevance to the thread.
But nothing's lost. Or else: all is translation And every bit of us is lost in it... - James Merrill
An open forum, so I pose my question.
When moderators post immoderately, where does one take their concern?
One cannot be judge and jury, both.

would, but I could, experience them all...
As I see it there is a certain amount of respect and trust that has been placed in the moderators. They were appointed by Robert, our fearless leader.

Can the real defendent speak??...lol...a correction is needed...smiles...
I reported Austin's post which used your quote. Why did I report that? (which I normally do not do)...Leskey had already moderated and deleted posts so for Austin to come in after her and post concerning the nature of the posts she deleted came across as antagonistic in nature almost defying Leskey's decision to moderate.
I fail to see why this is a big issue to Unreal Zelta. A lost post is usually because we have compromised Toequest rules to post professionally and the deletion of other corresponding posts is simply as Leskey stated "redundant" without the deleted posts....
I lost a post too! Its not a big deal, it was an unprofessional response to an unprofessional prior post...two errors make a mess...moderators clean up...what is so hard to understand about that. I agree with Val wholehearteldly about the moderators....they have a job to do!!

Thank you Mikal ...
I don't see why Unreal_Zelta just didn't post it again after the thread had been cleaned ... or post it somewhere more relevant if the thread cleanup had deleted the subject ?
cool bananas ... greg.

Its a crooked wheel, but its the only one in town ... lol
True, very crooked. Perhaps moderators should be banned for insulting members, as this has been several times now for each.
This is even worse than the reverse, for moderators are supposed to be quite an exemplar of following the TQ guidelines.
Note: Leskey only selectively moderated at first my reiteration of a 'funny' by Graybeard, but not his primary.
Good luck, guys. Credibility is fading, as I said the last few times, as well, and will say again upon the next.
Open rebellion is then difficult to prevent in such cases. You done it; you know it; no way around it.
A simple edit would have been more 'fair', as my post was self-containing as I claimed in my PM. If the goal is to avoid disjointed references and the like, then half of threads/posts in the toequest forum should be deleted. When a deletion is made, it is normal practice to further delete other posts which may reference the deleted post. This avoids disjointed references and restores flow and relevance to the thread.
I am not petitioning this issue to convey the importance of my post, I am petitioning however, the impetuous and authoritarian nature in its deletion. I respect moderators and their importance, however, 'fairness' is not decided by such roles. During moderation, the interests of both parties are incorporated; but in this case the decision was made arbitrarily and with underlying bias. -I do not wish to pursue such claims any further, as it would become intrusive and pugnacious.
Perhaps a consult should be made for the 'deletion' of a post, unless it is clearly in violation of the rules. Such act upholds the doctrines of democracy and does not violate several legal documents.
I am therefore seeking damages in the form of an apology and the reinstatement of my post.
regards
Zelta
