So it's on CNN right now, this story about the guy who brought the plane down. I can't help but think of a story when I see how people are reacting to it. Ya, it's religious, ya it's Christian perspective and I would almost assume "American-Christians" are probably most upset over it. "He should not be free, he's a murderer, he should be dead," etc, etc, etc.

What happened on the cross? Wasn't it the murderer who got accepted into heaven and the thief who was denied? Or is my memory a bit rusty?

What has this got to do with "what happened on the cross"? The Lockerbie bomber was released under compassionate grounds as per Scottish law. This has nothing to do with religion.
