I don't even know what i've supposed to have said -- that is insensitive to other peoples lives, ???
I simply posted an image in reply to Drifter's post...regarding the 'me' 'me' 'me' mentality.
geeez sometimes you are so confusing mikal?
what do you want me to explain / what is it that you have misinterpreted in my post ?
There is no 'me' i thought you knew that, there is no 'me' centre, that is just illusion.
Some see through this, others do not, it's those that do not that are the sensitive ones.
blockheads they are unconsciously so- i was once a blockhead too, till i saw with my new no eyes.
______
Life without a centre.
The word 'nonduality' points to
the non-existence of separation
The illusion of separation is at the root of all suffering.
In reality, there are no separate objects or people.
No 'inside' separate from 'outside'.
No 'me' separate form 'you'.
No 'seeker' separate from what is sought.
There is only Life appearing as everything.
Only no-thing manifesting everywhere.
Only Oneness, playing at being a world.
But there is nobody there pulling the strings.
No person in control.
No 'individual' separate from life itself.
No wave separate from the ocean.
And so there is nothing to find, because nothing was ever lost.
You are already Home, and always have been.
And somewhere beyond thought,
somewhere beyond time,
you have always known this.
Life Without A Centre is life - as it is -
seen with brand new eyes.
_______
The brand new eyes, was what Drifter was referring to, to which i responded with acknowledgement in the image.
Melanie,
To what purpose, this posting, so unlike the kind and patient teacher?
Do not answer me. I am now gone.
Ask and answer yourself....

This takes me back to my riding school days....
We are all teachers, Melanie, though we often may not consider ourselves such.
As with the horse example.....
Experience, is the only credential that separates a horse trainer from a student of horsemanship.
From the perspective of the horse, every interaction the horse has with any human, will be a 'learning opportunity', that will either reinforce positive or negative previous learnings.
You have made many very inspirational and beautiful posts, Melanie, and have taught me much, and given me much to contemplate and respect.
So when I see you posting manic smiles, that feel like tears to me, my first nature, like the horse, is to flee....
My second nature, as a forum friend, is to ask 'why'?
I appreciate your comments in response to my question, and I apologize if I have been too forthright or pushy.
Universal love and peace upon you, Melanie.
