The book author writes that he has no idea whether consciousness comes first or last. Instead, I see that Drifter’s theory is mostly what is presented in this thread, and sometimes Melanie’s, not the book's.

I wouldn’t mind at all to join the exodus, but, meanwhile, what is it that is so 'terrible'? I can help you through it.
