I'm a Grandaddy .... it feels weird

Number one rule for grandpappy...these little sprogs have rocked inside Mommy for 9 months...they like the sensation of rocking for about the first 3 years. This means you must pack up the wagon with a swing set...it can go with you to the outback...its a must!! A good portion of my life was spent in parks.....advice...when the little sprog falls off his first swing...don't panic, remember your own children lived...lol...

I bought mine up to climb and eat olives .... I thought these two things were important ... and as it turns out they were .. my kids now eat mainly Mediterranean and asian ... for which their parents take full credit ...and they climb as good as me ... and I'm pretty good in a tree ... almost a monkey .. lolol

Congratulations, Greg. I'm getting close to my grandfather time of life. Please take notes. I may be coming to you for advice...but please take into account that I am definitely not good in a tree.

Had my first baby sitting job on Saturday night. 20-Mar-10)

The kidlets left for their party at 18:30 ... and from that moment the little Bastard never stopped yelling until they got home at 23:00.

I nearly went spare .... it was endless ... In the end I put hime in the cot and let him scream his lungs out for 10 mins while I went and had a smoke outside .... you could hear him down the street. When I went to get him from the cot he was rigid and going at full volume ...

I picked him up and by walking and nursing and jiggling and singing he eventually started to pipe down ... every now and then he was shaken by a huge sob that seemed way too big to be coming from him .... then finally sleep ...

So I lay on the Lounge chair and placed him on my chest and there he slept ... and so did I. Merde .... it was a long night.
