I am subject to overkill ... especially as the epoxy takes 24hrs to cure ... but it enables my joints to be stronger than the timber .. this means I can make very tiny pieces ... with brass pinned centres that look like they would snap in your fingers like any twig ... but they are as strong as steel in the composite of brass, epoxy and timber (only the timber is visible.

No ... not archery .. I won a wood carving competition by carving a little boat. I carved it out of a single piece of 6" x 4" hardwood 20" long. It is on a fossilised stand of sand ripples from Australia's Sea-that-was and the last waves that formed them evaporated and drained away over 250 million years ago. Do you like ???

Some slight progress has been made. The following parts have been cut and fitted together

Yes Greg I like...smiles...its a very impressive replication and I would have to congratulate you on some pretty specific talent and skill.
I'm with Lesk here...its just getting more mysterious...its parts could come together in a million ways I could envision but I still cannot see the whole....grinning....
    Again congrats!!

    Regards Mikal
If I see a train coming and your on the track...if I don't tell you, it will be a pity for you and a shame on me....
