Maybe I'm missing what is not written between the lines of the actual comments.

lolol ... Yes, she has not put it in a way that is easy to interpret.

But what she is saying is that if once you accept 2 + 2 = 5 .... if you are inculcated into the belief ie: your parents taught it to you the same way they teach you about religion, etc .... if you are conditioned to it ... then .... you will believe it, regardless of its truth or falsehood.

Once you are inculcated into 'the belief completely and give yourself over to this belief with unwavering conviction, you'll realize that 2 and 2 have equaled 5 all along ... Mel'.

Hi Greg, perhaps, if you or she, were stating, that, she made a mistatement of what she meant to say, that would make a differrence to her actual comments, however, I'm not aware of her or you doing that.

All of you have done, is to add in the word "inculated" ergo indoctrinate, and that leads to same conclusion that I acknowledged and spoke to directly previously i.e. belief does not make a non-truth true.

If your adding some new concept in here, that we have not already disccussed and resolved, beyond that of "inculated" ergo indoctrinated, then I'm not sure what it is. Maybe you also have some hidden( not written ) meanings between the lines.

IF so, pleaase write them to clarify how anything I've stated is not an accurate accounting of whats been stated and any new conclusion I should be aware of, regarding what has been stated...lol :--)))

Things are given apparent substance through sensations arising in concord with rememberance of
'number' 'form' and 'meaning' (the actualities)

Knowing all things is not belief... it is this 'actuality now'

BELIEF is simply another concept that is known.

Believing these words is just knowing more concepts.

In other words, belief is all make believe....or consciousness k(now)ing itself.

I will see what I can do about the weather! Today it is 44c and that was at 2pm,living in the now takes a fair bit of daily focussing and refocussing,keeps you on your toes so to speak.

Yes, living in the now keeps you on your toes alright, its when we are at our most efficient where we are achieving maximum productivity with minimum wasted effort or expense. In this effortless state we allow the new to happen, where fresh, exciting, new ideas come flooding into our relaxed awareness.
