The Anything Theory of WhoopeeStandards - 08-23-2007, 12:48 AM

This insuperable thread is suspended & guaranteed by superstrings:
in a flat universe, precariously balanced on a turtle's metatarsal.

Anything comes and goes, floats, sinks, winks and blinks here.

Hype qualifies as theory here, equalling
(seriously delirious):
Hypotheory.

Contributions must meet stringent WHOOPEE standards.

The Anything Theory Committee adamently requires
highly speculative, ad hoc - pokerfaced, sincere, flashinnapan - contributions.

The (mere, existential) existence of anything is prone
to keen suspicion
at these authentically squinting coordinates.

Give ye up all hoop who roll in herex.

Energy, Mass, Motion, Light, Inertia, Gravity,
Time, Space & Space-Time are - and anything is - prohibited.

All entries must arrive before they depart.

Reality - by any definition - is a hoax and beckons exposure without jokes.
Levity - or joviality - of any denomination, automatically disqualifys itself.

Admission is free.
Pay at the door.
Pull up a chair.
Sit on the floor.

Poetry is grounds for extirpation and conflagration.

All Participants are required to perpetuate
these stringently grim format standards and:

FILL IN HERE (forthwith)...

(George Berkeley, 1710) ... lay the beginning in a distinct explication of what is meant by thing, reality, existence: for in vain shall we dispute concerning the real existence of things, or pretend to any knowledge thereof, so long as we have not fixed the meaning of those words.

When being swallowed by the quicksand,learning how to knit is futile?The anything theory
is to me the "thing" theory as every is away on vacation,like forever!

I well remember the whoopee cushions and the very rude noises they made when you sat on one!Hot air expelled with a raspberry note.

Dear RascalPuff and toequesters;

I felt that your thread is a meaningful one, so I really searched thru dictionaries to get those implicated meanings of some words, not just by guessing.
Hasty guessing might miss the hidden truth in your message.

Inspired from the title: The Anything Theory of Whoopee Standards , I feel that:
1) Anything: noisy people choose Anything they like, but not everything or typical things to develop their theories;
2) Whoopee [means noisy/excited]: noisy people use standards excited to themselves but don't care whether their standards are rational/workable or not;
3) Standards: double standards. Very stringent [means strict] to others but very loose to self.

Best regards,
- Bottomlander

note: I notice and appreciate the kind wishes at the end of the last message from RascalPuff "Best retards,"
which wish that "The Anything Theory of Whoopee Standards" should be retarded, don't be unabated!

Rascal,

That was a good one!

Bottomlander,

Thanks for translating. I've been studying the "Austrailian" language lately and was all confused.
