    “A genetically engineered number”

    “A genetically engineered number”

    214 74 83 647

“In 1814, Peter Barlow, not anticipating future interest in prime numbers, wrote (in A New Mathematical and Philosophical Dictionary):
Euler ascertained that 231 − 1 = 2147483647 is a prime number; and this is the greatest at present known to be such, and consequently the last of the above perfect numbers [i.e., 230(231 − 1)], which depends upon this, is the greatest perfect number known at present, and probably the greatest that ever will be discovered; for as they are merely curious, without being useful, it is not likely that any person will attempt to find one beyond it.”

    214 74 >< 83 647

This number’s ‘numerical structure’ is so perfectly designed that it seems out of a poem. Let’s begin with the ends first:

    214 >< 647

We see 7 the ‘image’ of 2 and 6 the ‘image’ of 1. The number 4 repeats in both ends but in a different decimal place.

    647 = [6 + 4 + 7] = 17 while 214 = [2 + 1 + 4] = 7

    17 – 7 = 10 Being [10] the expression corresponding to one complete cycle.
    If one subtract 647 – 214 = 433 where [4 + 3 + 3] = 10 (Same message)
    Let’s take the middle ones:

    74 >< 83

    [7 + 4] = 11 and also [8 + 3] = 11
83 – 74 = 9 Being 9 the ‘image’ of 4 *the only number that repeats three times in the numerical expression.
Converting 8 into its corresponding ‘Object’ 3 and 7 into 2 by the same token we obtain:

    24 >< 33

    [2 + 4] >< [3 + 3]

    6 = 6

“... for as they are merely curious, without being useful, it is not likely that any person will attempt to find one beyond it.”
He was probably right... However I was curious enough to see beyond it; I saw a symmetry hidden in a number that has been around for more than a Century intriguing the minds of every “Number Lover” since its born...

    Re: “A genetically engineered number”

    “Mirror Progression is Legitimate”

This is a subject you won’t find anywhere in Math books and if you asked your Math Professor about it… well why waste your time?

If you are here I assume that you’ve just read and understood the symmetry found about a very historic and intriguing number in the history of Mathematics.

I bet you wonder where is that almost ‘perfect symmetry’ could come from and what is the meaning of it?

If you asked yourself those questions… well, it means that you are curious enough to finish reading what I have for you next:

Take number 2 and begin multiplying it by 2 the total of 23 times.

The mathematical expression of this operation would consist in a base 2 with the number 23 (in small print) almost on the top right corner of 2. The reason I describe it is because I haven’t figure it out how to posted correctly in this site… But you got the idea.

After multiplying 2 by 2 twenty three times this is the number you get:

16777216 But let’s give it some joy and color, shall we?

    1677 >< 7216

    That’s better!

Oops! Symmetry again! Since 7 is the ‘image’ of 2 and 6 the ‘image of 1…”- What do we have for the loser, judge?

“The Jury has decided to keep multiplying both “Wings” until symmetry was achieved once again! And God had mercy on your soul!”

After multiplying 1677 three times later I got:

    13416

Then I began to enforce the same “sentence” to the “”Right “Wing” up to six times when I got this:

    461824

Of course…for the “non-initiated” this two numbers may have nothing in common but you are not one of those anymore, are you? You know that if we find a possible 10 (complete cycle) we could establish the “connection” at once… We I found it:

    [13] [416] >< [416] [82] [4]

    See it?

    4 416 >< 416 4

How embarrassing could a Math Professor look like after denying the sole possibility of such remarkable numerical event?

But the “sentence” hasn’t been entirely applied and I kept on multiplying those same numbers we obtained initially by 2.

    13416 x 2 (Seven more times) = 1717248

    461824 x 2 (four more times) = 7389184

You would probably believe that I chose randomly the number of times we multiplied by 2 but you know what… You’re wrong!

To get to those two numbers you see in ‘red’ and ‘blue’ above I multiplied both initial “Wings” exactly 10 times each!

    Let’s see our numbers now:

    1717248 >< 7389184

    [1748] [172] >< [389] [7184]

Let’s bring down here the seemingly “incoherent” and “incongruent” digits…

    [172] >< [389]

    [12] = [1 + 2] = [3]

[89] = [34] After an EVEN conversion of 8 and 9 into their corresponding ‘images’…

    [34] = [3 + 4] = [7]

    73 >< 37

How interesting, right? 7 + 3 = 10 A complete cycle and the same times we multiplied those original “Wings” to find this result…

    Still any questions?

    “The connection”

You don’t have to be a Mathematician to actually see what I will show you in a moment… I need you to scroll back and read the conclusions of my article titled “Mirror Progression is Legitimate” and double check if you feel that you are not going to believe my words or you are the skeptical type.

I took the number 2 and I first multiplied it by 2 twenty –three times.

The first “Point of Symmetry” was found when the “Left Wing” was merely multiplied by 2 only three times while the “Right Wing” needed six multiplications by 2.

If we took 23 as ‘reference’ symmetry was achieved by the “Left Wing” at [3] while the “Right Wing” already was at [6].

It only takes a simple “Mirror Analysis” to realize of the ‘encrypted message’… Watch:

    23 + 3 = 26

    After a proper ‘image-object’ conversion of 6 into 1 we have [26] = [21]

    = [2 + 1] = 3!

Doing the same analysis with the “Right Wing”…

    23 + 6 = 29

    After a proper ‘image-object’ conversion of 9 into 4 we have [29] = [24]

    [2 + 4] = 6!

    Message was authentic! Wasn’t it?

    The connection

The second “Point of Symmetry” is what interests me.

The “Left Wing” needed seven (7) more multiplications by 2 to achieve this point while the “Right Wing” needed only four (4) more.

If we take a look at our “mysterious number” once again…

    214 74 >< 83 647

We see both numbers (7 and 4) in both “Wings” too and in a typical ‘object-image’ configuration:

    74 >< 47

Rearranging the symmetry under this new one we obtain:

    214 74 ><836 47

    Where [21] [4] = [3] [4] in the “Left Wing”

    Where [8] [36] = [3] [3 + 1] = [3] [4]

    3474 >< 3447

    774 >< 747

Converting those four 7s into their own ‘objects’ (2)…

    8 >< 8

It was 8 the repetitive number we found inside “Pi” after properly “mirror Analyzing” its decimals… A happy coincidence perhaps?
