A theory of such power and widespread applications would probably be used by analytical thinkers, and engineers to innovate new products. I suspect perhaps inter-stellar and time-modifying capabilities, since they seem to be just out of reach of current theories, though not conceptual impossible. I think that we will come to a cross-roads where the quest will not be of curiosity nor awe or any of those wonderful things that make us connected. Somewhere in the search, some may pull ahead of those innocently searching, someone who wants it for their ego, for weaponry, for some awful cause. I think we will find it to be a double-edged blade, capable of horrendous destruction and of great beauty. Not only is it a search for everything, but a test, to not fail. As a paradox, the huge theory will not be harnessed so easily, as we use it's applications it will change us. So I say that a true TOE would change things. (PS to change things it ought to be available to everyone not just the .1% of us with a PhD. in some abstract field of mathematics. it may be found originally that way, but it should be able to be simplified into real languages used by regular folks)
