Sounds so nice Prof. However I wonder what will happen if for some reason suddenly the resonance breaks. Will the Universe collapse? Quote:

Thats if string theory is true. Some how I had abandoned this theory about 2 years back. Quote:

With or without strings, the universe well always have its music Dipayankar. In the static hum of the CBR and of the atoms. In the gurgling of the stream, in the chirping of the crickets, In the explosive sounds of the novas. And even, at the end, all we are left with is photons, I have a feeling they also make music. Best to you, Pat

Hello Leskey,
I meant the possible organization of the information concerning this universe. With which implicitly comes along the notion of a reality all matter is part and is an aspect of. And of course this organization only can be searched for in the information science delivers us, varying from physics all the way up to psychology. Within this information already stands out the notion of this universe as a growth in complexity. Subsequently this combined with the notion of 'music and variation' as possible also characteristic for this universe, reminds me of some kind of art in ascent.
Concerning your near-death experience I am convinced we can experience this reality in different ways, this according to our cognitive abillities. Very interesting is here the impressive testimony by Jill Bolte Taylor, concerning her stroke (of insight). See: http://www.ted.com/talks/view/id/229
PS. For me this universe is just one big, very complex, hierarchic and holistic ordered, expanding and developing... vibration. | |

Thank you, Benedict.
I am familitiar with TED, but had not viewed the presentation by Jill Bolte Taylor - excellent! I have never heard a description of the brain in quite the terms Ms Taylor uses. She expresses her unique experience of "two worlds" very eloquently. I hope I am accurate in my interpretation:
The left brain is the linear processor. It is dynamic: dissecting and categorizing the past and employing various forms of language to communicate the possible/the future. It is also the conduit between our mental and physical existence, discerning individuality/self-awareness/the "I am..."
The right brain is the sensory processor: experiencing the energy/"lifeforce power" and creating the perfect, peaceful, present - the consciousness of "being" that is immutable/all encompassing/infinite/eternal.
It's as though we are the embodiment of two entirely different dimensions or parallel universes: "Was/Maybe" and "Just Is," though I think only ONE of them is capable of expansion... "Perfection is not when there is more to add, but when there is no more to take away." Antoine De Saint-Exupery
"A man is rich in proportion to the number of things he can afford to let alone." Henry David Thoreau

You are right Prof. I always felt that somehow we can co-relate the classical music to the fundamental sounds of the Universe (not the kind of crap that you get to hear nowadays). Ever noticed how all the classical music of the various civilisations sound similar.. Quote:
