    Angry Reality Demands Justice!

    Hey guys,

    The Theory Of Everything is a finite solution with infinite applications. What people don't seem to get is that it's not a T.O.M.E., theory of mostly everything, but a T.O.E., period. Metaphysics, physics, biology, astronomy, cosmology, religion, philosophy, and all other 'branches of thought' hold a piece to the puzzle. No matter how obscure and jagged that piece may be there's a place where it fits perfectly. I realize I'm being very general but that's not the point. People refute facts about the unexplained and unexplored because it's not mainstream. Yet, there was a time when intelligent men and women laughed at the notion that the earth was round! How can we be so arrogant! It's ironic that the very same people seeking a theory of everything will turn their noses at something. Everything rejects nothing! Well, I say we need to come together and put our egos aside. A theory of everything requires everyone. United we stand but divided we can't stand each other. At the same time we need the skeptics and devils advocates, don't get me wrong, I love challenging ideas. I keep an open mind but I'm not stupid. Anyways, theory of everything. Don't be stupid, but challenge the orthodox; be open minded, but keep that screen of skepticism;
be confident, but not arrogant; be optimistic, but use your common sense. Finally go with your gut and be intuitive. Come together.

United we stand but divided we can't stand each other.

    Thanks,

    Tesla

Also i want to clearify that Dlevwing is an engineer, and i am not.
So he probably knows about ten times as much about these matters than i do.
i just read things at the right source.

    Hope you don't mind Dave.

    Sorry for this late message.

    Re: Reality Demands Justice!

Michael, to be honest, the last weeks i have too much been busy, with trying to rectify everything.

So my TOE-vision has become a bit obscure.

In general i try to follow specialists in these matters.

But i also interpreted things from several articles.

So i think if you want to know the whole exact truth, i would advise you better read the relevant articles themselves.

    (sorry).

    Re: Reality Demands Justice!

    Hello Telsa,

I fully agree with the broad spectrum you take as possible source for the TOE. I think if you compare it with a house, then all windows reveal reality and not only the physics-window. But saying this I'm taking the metaphysical point of view that suggests that reality is more than only forces and matter - I'm thinking something extra. Or it should be that for instance religion can be explained out of physics. Thus arriving in the vivid discussion that already is going on for decades, in books, articles and on the internet - see for instance the ID-discussion.

In the threads below I suggested a kind of way-out for that. Implying looking behind everyone’s worldview: what goes on in the brain when someone says: 'I belief' or 'I'm an atheist'? For instance science these days is thinking about the neurological background of on the one hand the object-oriented approach of reality (dominant in the western culture) and on the other hand the context-oriented view on things (dominant in the Asian cultures). So you see, this TOE one way or another has to do with how we perceive reality, and how we define reality, and how we define criteria for what is true and what not, etcetera.

I think it's interesting to add that TOE traditionally isn't an issue at all in the Asian culture. Or it should be that they immediately point at the Yin-Yang-principle. While in the western tradition this TOE has of course a huge background going all the way back to the concept 'Logos' as introduced by Heraclit. The merge of Greek philosophy and Judea Christian thinking (we also might add Islamic thinking) set western thinkers on the track of a universal formula, the great pattern that connects, the one idea that founds all other idea's, the meme of memes; in my view: the central theme of variation - and direction, the idea out of which this reality can happen, can be, can develop, is and becomes.

TOE needs imagination: just imagine yourself how this reality would work. Would work if there is a TOE. Verification and falsification are of later sorrow.
